On behalf of the sane portion of the population in Virginia, please accept the sincerest of apologies for the existence of Tim Kaine in the Senate.
Sigh. I sympathize with you.
I am from a blue state, and the last time it was considered conservative was likely the 1944 election.
But it has been painful for me to watch states like Virginia go bluer with each election cycle.
