The 2012 Republican presidential nominee has been reluctant to announce a primary challenge to Sen. Orrin G. Hatch of Utah, the longest-serving Republican senator in history. But America needs Romney to step up, to restore dignity to the Senate -- and to save the country from the embarrassment Hatch has become.
Hatch, long the picture of conservative rectitude, was once a conscientious legislator, even partnering with Ted Kennedy when he thought poor kids were getting a raw deal. But Hatch, the Senate president pro tempore, has undergone a grotesque transformation this year, his 84th on earth and 42nd in the Senate. He has become chief enabler of and cheerleader for President Trump.

When a raving Leftard like Milbank supports Romney, it’s just another reminder of how the RINOs are used by the MSM.

Milbank is a hard-line socialist and I find it a bit ironic that the person of whom he is wanting for president is the same person that he lamblasted when he was running for that very position.
The president held out an olive branch to Romney and treated him with respect during the cabinet selection process.
Romney turned around and crapped on the president.
And then crapped on him some more.
Romney is history - he has had his chances to do the right thing for America and failed.
Time for him to gracefully (or not so gracefully) fade away.

You raise an interesting question; Utah was admitted to the Union in 1890, but only after Mormon apostles received a revelation that polygamy was no longer kosher.
Since then, how many senators from Utah have not been Mormons? So, no charges of carpetbaggery if you enter Utah politics while proclaiming Joseph Smith to be your prophet?

Mittens will fight Trump with all of his might. He lost his bid for the Presidency and is nothing but sour apples since. I do not like him! He does need to go somewhere to curl up ad cry.

I love how much praise Hatch has heaped upon President Trump recently and much prefer him to run for another term.
The only way to survive Mitt in the Senate would be to pick up several of the ten vulnerable RAT seats in states Trump won—but it still is not worth the risk to have Romney likely working to undermine our great President.
1) Trump is winning (unlike the GOP-e punching bags)
2) The American People are noticing that Trump's policies are the EXACT opposite of everything the chattering classes told them would work.
3) The GOP-e is beginning to notice that if they hide behind President Donald J. Trump, (or even (*gulp*) imitate him), they win. (And we can't have THAT!)
Romney is just a stealth Democrat. The most useless piece of turd that ever got left on the stoop.
