President Trump is drawing attention to the mysterious federal court case against Imran Awan, the former IT aide to a number of congressional Democrats, including former Democratic National Committee chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
“Whatever happened to this Pakistani guy who worked with the DNC?” the president asked in an interview published Thursday by the New York Times.
A grand jury in August returned an indictment in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia charging Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, with a total of four counts, which included federal bank fraud and conspiracy. Awan has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Federal law enforcement agents working the Imran Awan and Hina Alvi fraud probe said the couple, along with other members of the family, were never properly vetted for Congressional security clearances.
Instead the clearances, which provided the Awans access to dozens of Congressional Democrats computer networks and IT systems, were likely approved absent each individual background file getting “fully investigated.” “I seriously doubt they could have passed a full background (check),” one FBI insider said. “These clearances were pushed through.”
FBI insiders used the word “forged” to describe the process of what happened to the Awan files. Federal law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case divulged: Either someone with clout in Congress, or higher, made sure the Awans received their security clearances despite glaring problems or the investigators pushed their files through for approval as part of a systemic breakdown.

Mysterious indeed. The Awan case could, in the end, turn into one of the worst cases of espionage and foreign penetration of the US government in history. All signs currently point to a money-laundering operation dealing drugs within the US and supporting Hezbolleh with the proceeds, while 30 or more Democrat congresspeople are either oblivious, or, too scared to come forward to reveal their involvement. Incredible.
Then-Cong Xavier Becerra (Democrat-Cali), chaired the House Democratic Caucus, yet he barely reacted when learning the Democrat Caucus server had been infiltrated in 2016. NOTE Becerra loudly decried the hack of the Democratic National Committee, then-chaired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz..... that happened around the same time.
BECERRA CLAMS UP Becerra, who is now top law enforcer as Cali Attorney general, refused to articulate even the barest details of the cyber breach at a recent press conference. AG Becerra would not say whether he’s seeking criminal charges against Becerra's own longtime IT aide, Imran's wife, Alvi, Imran Awan and his clan.
BECERRA AIDE KNEW Multiple sources said Sean McCluskie, who was Cong Becerra’s chief of staff, and is now chief deputy attorney general of California, knew of problems well before Capitol Hill law enforcement was brought on board in Oct 2016.

(c) Hina Alvi was the sole IT aide on the payroll of the Democrat Caucus. (d) The other Awans had no connection or official authorization to access Democrat Caucus equipment.
The Ministry of Propaganda has done a pretty good job of keeping the Awan story under wraps and spinning it away from the truth when they have to report something about it.
Pakistanis were RUNNING the Democrats computer systems on Capitol Hill.

Becerra ended up giving the feds a copy\image of the server\database to the feds which subsequently turned out to be a manufactured\forged image.

There is much more involving these Spies. There is a thread mentioning the Awans in today’s FR. I believe the original article was True Pundit. Awans had a court date of 1-8-18. The case has disappeared off the Federal Court list Calendar. The judge has been involved with two other cases where she recused herself. Looks like “something or someone” is tying their hands.
She was caught at security with around $ 50,000 in cash stuffed into grocery bags
She was released and allowed to board the flight out of the country because the FBI over ruled DHS and instructed security to release them
The call would have had to have been made by Comey or McCabe
Let’s hope they are tied to this and they rot in prison for this and other criminal acts.
That whole Imran Awan affair is going to fall thru the crack into oblivion.
