Hundreds of Teens Wreak Havoc on New Jersey Mall

When teens aren’t busy having illegal Ikea sleepovers or jumping into zebra exhibits at the zoo for love, sometimes they find time to flock to the malls of New Jersey, where they kick doors and run up escalators the wrong way.

As NBC-10 reports, between 700 and 1,000 teens created such a disturbance at the Cherry Hill Mall in southern New Jersey the day after Christmas. Fellow shoppers were reportedly frightened as the teens moved around nonsensically, and a few fights even broke out.

“Kids [were] running up and down the escalator the wrong way, so they shut them off, but they just kept going up and down,” one horrified witness told NBC-10. Another, speaking with WPVI, recalled, “They were shaking on the doors, kicking the doors. The kids outnumbered the adults ten to two. It was bad.”

Police arrived around 7:30 p.m. to disperse the crowd, and five juveniles were eventually charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and other offenses.

The press is going overboard to cover up what this really was: a flashmob of African-Americans vandals that numbered over 1,000.

Cherry Hill NJ is a wealthy area (with a majority population of Jews - the highest in South Jersey), however, it is located only a short distance from Camden and other towns that are heavily black, welfare dependent, and crime ridden.

The press reports are saying "parents dropped their kids off unsupervised." Most of them came in via NJ Transit buses to the mall, they were not "dropped off" by mommy and daddy.

The kicked in store glass, knocked over shopppers and trash cans, ran the wrong way up escaltors, swarmed people eating at the food court, knocked bags and packages out of the hands of shoppers, and committed a host of other wonderful acts.

And then there is the rest of the press spin:

"Youths."

"Juveniles."

"School Kids."

"Teens."

So far, police have arrested only 5 of them:

This is on full bellies, just for fun. Imagine their behavior a few weeks after the EBT system has imploded.

They’re going to have to make malls into “membership clubs”, requiring a yearly fee, and card access only. The “fee” will need to be hefty - to much to pay for just a place to “hang out”. And, plenty of security in the parking lots.

If not, between thugs and Amazon, malls will die a slow and agonizing death.

Yes - I remember a few years ago when the EBT system went down in several states at once. It wasn't pretty.

There was also a run on WalMarts and other places in another EBT glitch where the takers realized their cards were not being charged - so they descended like fleas on a dog and were stuffing everything into shopping carts they could. That is until the glitch cause EBT to shut down, and they abandoned their loot and ran for the hills.

Is there any wonder why Amazon is doing well? Low shoplifting, vandalism, etc. Merchandise is paid before it is shipped.

Amazon is testing traditional stores where a credit card is used for entry. This is a powerful way to stop this stuff.

I have not been to a mall in years. When I was growing up, we went to the mall to get pizza, play video games, and shop. Our high school band and choir used to play in the malls by the fountain courts, and they were safe, family friendly places to go.

The "Youths" don't go to Costco.

They swarm the malls.

There was a mall someplace that tried to stop regional buses from accessing it - and a local councilwoman claimed it was "racist" to try and stop the buses. So they allowed the buses to come to the mall, and the place went to hell.
