I am not opposed to federal workers getting high pay — if they’re worth it!
At face value, 30,000 federal employees make more than all 50 state governors sounds outrageous.
This is not so much a Deep State as much as a Bloated State issue. We could get rid of 2/3rds of these and still do just fine.
Though I suspect the 50% who work for the post office are earning their pay.
You are exactly right about the addiction. We know making laws within the states to get those off welfare can and has been done with success.
How do we get addicts to pass laws saying they can’t have their drug of choice?

The real reason for the huge some is that for every federal employee there is a swamp creature or too making a bundle off of the privatization of government boodling.
It's time to cut every one of these jobs. The 'public' will feel better... and 'relations' will improve...
