[FULL TITLE] Jackie Speier: Trump 'systematically trying to shut down every possible branch of government but the presidency'
Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., said she is worried that President Trump is attempting to "shut down" all vestiges of the federal government other than the presidency, effectively paving the way for a dictatorship.
The congresswoman pointed to Trump's recent attacks against the Justice Department and FBI as evidence.
"I am concerned that the president of the United States is systematically trying to shut down every possible branch of government but the presidency," Speier said on MSNBC on Tuesday. "So you got him attacking the judiciary, you have him attacking the CIA, you have him attacking the Department of Justice, the FBI. I mean this is the conduct of someone who could become a tyrant if we don’t step in and speak out against him.”

He steps back & lets Congress do its job, rescinds the illegal acts of his predecessor and acts only within the powers designated to President under the Constitution. Spier is desperately trying to change the subject——she and Debbie/W/S fast-tracked the Awan spy gang onto the US payroll. Spier was one of the Democrats demanding their staff (meaning the Awan spies) get access to top-level US security data.

A good start. What about Justice? How much can the states handle?
It's a shame there is no educational requirement to be elected as a Democrat. The Justice Department and FBI are not branches of government, but agencies that belong to the executive branch--the branch headed by the president. President Trump has the ultimate responsibility to ensure that these organizations function according to their original charter--and if they are being used for political purposes, he has the right and duty to clean them up.
If President Trump were to start trying to disband the Congress or Judiciary, she might have something to complain about. But his cleaning up the executive branch--she's a dolt to complain.
This idiot has one of those “boots” on. They know the ax is getting ready to fall on their corruption.
Their plan now is to pretend that they did nothing wrong and Trump is ruining our “democracy”.

Whatever the family, the church, the neighborhood, the city, businesses, the county and the state can do, the Feds should get out of those tasks and responsibilities.

If any department is part of the “swamp” Trump promised to drain, then it needs to be shut down, drained and re-staffed with HONEST government employees. (I realize that “honest” and “government employees” probably shouldn’t be used in the same sentence but you get the point).
