No, we do not go out on New Years.
We watch the ball drop and sip champagne.
I usually will make a nice dinner that day.
Well, that sounds like a lovely way to spend the day! I usually watch some fireworks online...I’m such a dork! LOL! Then I change my calendar, which I need to go purchase on Amazon right NOW, and go to bed at the usual time.
We’ll probably have some of the homemade eggnog that hubby made. It’s da’ bomb!
Seems I’ll be up in the air at that time, night red-eye flights to Missoula, MT and Bozeman, MT to name a couple of airports seeings that I’m low in seniority; so it’s back and forth from there to Denver.
Well, just hope you don’t have blizzard conditions to contend with that night. They’re getting quite a bit of snow in the upper midwest. My kids live in WY, and they are loving it!
They want us to move up there. Mmmmmmm....maybe not! LOL!
Yes, things are getting better. I hope for the best in 2018.

My answers were based on what I’d LIKE to do, and DID do when I was younger.
Nowadays it’s sit at home in front of the computer, like every other night. LOL

Whew, Christmas is over and New Year is afoot. Daughter made it home safely and I'm in for a lot of work as I have to squeeze 3 days work into 2 days because of the short work week, oh well.
Heading out to Sister's place on Saturday and will have time to have lunch with 2 old friends too.

Indeed there ARE some cool fireworks online. I watch them on NYE too.
A few people around here shoot off fireworks at midnight and I’ve gone out to watch them several times. Not this year though. Going to be too cold that night.
I hear ya...mine are usually waaaaay beyond casual. It’s computer time with all you guys here usually! LOL! I love it...can wear my jammies and no one knows the difference! :)
The only fireworkds even close here are the random firecrackers. In town, it’s against the law, so people have to be sneaky.
They’re usually pretty much done by the time we go to sleep. LOL!
