Abraham Lincoln’s words were chiseled in granite. John F. Kennedy’s words are embedded in the national consciousness.

A year into President Trump’s term, his most memorable lines come not from grand speeches or prime-time presidential addresses. They come from his tweets.

(Snip)...Trump’s direct Twitter channel to America has proved its potency in his first year in office.

It must have hurt to publish that headline, so I snipped a little to reduce the backhanded "compliment" ...

The MSM hates how he can bypass their filter and get his message out to the people. They have no way to counter his tweets and it enrages them.

Look for some Dem to suggest that ‘Twitter’ should be off limits to presidents...................of course that is until the next Dem comes along...............

They really Think it is inappropriate for the President to communicate this way.It is difficult to impossible for the Progressives to filter it properly and Unfiltered truth is dangerous.

You know why? Trump communicates the way most of us would in our daily lives with someone who denigrates or abuses us.

Most of us wouldn’t just sit back and take what our enemies dish out. We would try to give it back to them in the nature they gave it, usually with a modicum of intelligence or humor mixed into it so we don’t have to be as robotically dogmatic as them.

A politician would say something like “We all have our differences, and my esteemed colleague across the aisle obviously feels...blah...blah...blah...”

Most politicians would not say what Donald Trump wrote in that tweet...but many normal people would.

I am surprised that the Lords of the Web have not banned everything from DJT as transgressing their values. They bit by bit are shutting down the expression of views by all other non progressive sources. Why not that ultimate Hate Speecher, Donlald Trump?

I love each and every time Trump circumvents the media and speaks directly to me. I love the content and the demeanor of everyone. I realize that most are written for him now that he has so much on his plate and he is doing more than any president in history but he still writes some directly and they are magnificent. I get each one on my Iphone and read them right away. He is a genius for doing this and we are so lucky!!Keep it up Mr. President — more more more!!!

There are so many layers of what he can do with communicating on Twitter. It’s absolutely awesome.

The only thing Kennedy said of any magnitude was “ Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for the country” which was an oxymoron coming from him and should be warn in a tattoo by every welfare recipient.

“Most politicians would not say what Donald Trump wrote in that tweet...but many normal people would.”

Sometimes I wonder if Trump is a Master of Sardonic Deadpan Humor.... Libs hate it as they hate to be laughed at and don’t know when he is serious or just joking.

Yeah, it's awful not getting the Prez's words filtered
through a press corp of antagonistic attention whores.
And before they can dig down for partisan perfidy,
Trumps tweets anew and the trolley moves on.
Must make 'em crazy.

Just as ironic, the pat fallback for liberals when they say something offensive is to insist they were joking, or were taken out of context!

Doesn’t seem like Trump even cares what they think...

“They really Think it is inappropriate for the President to communicate this way.It is difficult to impossible for the Progressives to filter it properly and Unfiltered truth is dangerous.”

We needed to change the pace from predictable stoic of past Republican candidates, both domestically and in foreign policy. Politically correct was a manipulation tool used by the Dem’s to intensify and manipulate the emotions of the uninformed.

Much of what Trump has done is to lower himself to the level of communication of most of the people who swallow the Dem’s dribble hook-line-and-sinker. He is the Rodney Dangerfield of politics.

In Caddyshack, where the Judge tell Dangerfield that they don’t like his kind around the country club, and Dangerfield replies, “I don’t like the people around here. I’m just here to consider buying this place!!!”

“Doesn’t seem like Trump even cares what they think...”

Thus the characteristic of a true leader and not someone who blows with the wind.
