To be fair U.S. Representatives have a whole lot of power over the airlines and it is in United’s best interest to get her a first class seat. It has been reported that United apologized five times in one phone call to the displaced customer. United will pony up with some more cash and benefits and all will be well.
This whole affair is excusable. Sheila Jackson Lee lent her broom to Hillary, and poor Sheila had to fly United.
