A Christmas Challenge by Pastor Scott Lively
Of all the ethnic groups in this world, I love Jews the most, because my Lord and Savior, Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) was one, and because some of my greatest friends and benefactors throughout my life have been Torah-faithful Jewish people whose sincere care for others reflects the love of God. Among these I count a Jewish Cadillac Dealer who picked me up hitchhiking near Boston as a young teenager and took me into his home where his family cared for me like a son during a period of crisis in my life, and later a special-ed teacher who went out of his way to get me placed in a far-left hippie alternative school after I had dropped out of high school in a spiral of self-destruction an intervention that (strangely enough considering my conservatism today) helped turn my life around. There have been many others.
Yet, at the same time, some of those who call themselves Jews have been among the most cruel and destructive to me personally and to all of humanity by aggressively undermining the law of God upon which the infrastructure of Judeo-Christian civilization rests. Among these are unscrupulous men of the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the billionaire Paul Singer, patron of the so-called Human Rights Campaign, who all have singled me out for vilification and harassment for publicly scrutinizing the LGBT movement and its history through the lens of the Hebrew Torah they themselves reject. And who could forget the curse inflicted on the world by Torah-faithless Jews like George Soros, and various Jewish Hollywood and news media moguls in the mold of Harvey Weinstein, who use their influence (and push fake news) to degrade rather than uplift society.
I am reminded of the profundity of Jeremiah, Chapter 24, in which God Himself compares the Jews of pre-captivity Jerusalem to figs: the good ones being like the choicest first fruit of the season, while the bad ones were too rotten to eat. As His chosen people, Hebrews have always been intended to represent the best and worst of mankind measured by their faithfulness to His law demonstrating in their own lives the consequences of their obedience or rebellion, with significant implications for the entire world.
Indeed, it was the Jewish intellectual become Christian apostle Paul who observed in his letter to the Romans A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew because he is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code (Romans 2:28-29) citing the circumcision of the heart promised by God to faithful Hebrews in Deuteronomy 30:6.
It is this spiritual truth that explains the meaning of the word Semite (Shemite) by which Jewish identity is linked to Noahs son Shem, held by Hebrew sages to be none other than Melchizedek, the Priest of the Most High God, to whom Abraham paid homage in Genesis 14. Thus it is that Semite does not define an ethnicity for the physical descendants of Shem are vast in number (especially compared to the Jews) and include untold numbers of Jew-hating Islamists. Semite is instead a religious designation meaning Worshiper of Yahweh, for that is what has always distinguished true Jews from fake ones, and what has always allowed non-Hebrews to become true Jews per Deuteronomy 23:7-8 and other passages. And, importantly, faithfulness to Yahweh is judged most pivotally over the issue of male homosexuality, for it is no accident that Melchizedeks rival for the fealty of Abraham in the pivotal story of Genesis 14 is King Bera of Sodom, whose name means King of Evil, while Melchizedek means King of Righteousness.
That same homosexual issue serves as a key litmus test for Jews today. As wise Solomon observed, What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9).
In a recent conversation with an Orthodox Rabbi with whom Ive been friends for years, I opined that the rise of anti-Semitism around the world is rooted in large part in the perception that Jews are behind the rising tide of moral depravity afflicting the entire planet today. This opinion (re the anti-Semites) is informed by my personal observations in a study of the populist/nationalist movement through travel in 27 countries in the past two years. One can almost correlate the degree of suspicion of Jews in these nations to the degree to which George Soros and his cronies have been active in their societies, especially in Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation. It also does not escape the attention of the world including billions of morally conservative Moslems, Buddhists, Hindus and Christians that Torah-faithless Jewish leaders are among the most vocal champions of the American-style sexual perversion that has overflowed into their nations with such terrible consequences.
Because I work closely with many Torah-faithful Jews I know those perceptions are false: for every morally regressive left-wing Jew like Al Franken, there are many Torah-faithful Jews just as aghast as the rest of us over their immoral agenda. But there are bitter memories and fears among true Jews about the consequences of taking a strong, public moral stand. According the German Jew Samuel Igra, author of Germanys National Vice (1945), it was the righteous Jewish newspaper publisher Maximilian Harden who exposed a homosexual cabal in control of Kaiser Wilhelms pre-WWI German government, leading to a series of major public trials from 1907-1914. Those trials angered the growing German gay subculture, including the young Adolf Hitler (who was, according to Igra, a male teen prostitute in Munich and Vienna in those years), turning him violently against the Jews because they were responsible for the homophobic moral crackdown. When Hitlers Nazi Party later started scapegoating Jews, the majority Christians did not come to their defense (with some exceptions) and the result was the Holocaust.
During my recent visit to Israel, leading a tour group of Christians, I stayed at a guest house in Old Jerusalem on the grounds of the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East, ground-zero in the Anglican Christian effort to repatriate Jews to the Holy Land many years before the political movement called Zionism would be founded. My email and Facebook comments at that time triggered a backlash from anti-Zionists, whom I vigorously debated by email for many subsequent weeks and lost at least one friend in the process.
This led me to a great deal of self-study and contemplation about the issues touched upon in this article, and numerous failed attempts to put these thoughts in a form that balances two perspectives that divide lots of Christians into two opposing camps: those who love Israel and the Jews so much they wont admit some men and some Israeli policies are just plain bad, and those who hate Israel and the bad Jews so much they wont admit that many Jews are righteous, some of them exemplary. For my part, I will continue to seek and speak the truth in a balanced and objective manner.
The New Testament contains a famous proverb about the wheat and the tares, a metaphor for true and false Christians. That metaphor reflects the same spiritual principle as Jeremiah 24: Christians are wheat, Jews are figs, but the lesson is the same. And just as Christians have the duty to make the distinction between good and bad examples of their faith clear to the world, so do the Jews. We can and should all fight anti-Semitism by exposing the fake Jews pushing an anti-Torah agenda, but true Jews need to take the lead.
I challenge us all to recognize that Bible-faithful Christians and Torah-faithful Jews should be better friends to each other than we are to the faithless members of our own group, and to work together to restore to our society the truths we hold in common.
Clinton Won Overwhelming Majority of Jewish-American Vote, Polls Say
Even among Orthodox Jews, Clinton captured a majority of the votes, with 70 percent of Jews voting for Clinton compared to only 25 percent for Trump.

A common problem with autodidacts from a degraded (there isn’t any such word as “degradated” to my knowledge) background, is that they think everybody else’s prime or chief error looks exactly like theirs, and that everybody else’s valid leading to heaven looks exactly like theirs.
Here’s where Christian body life is essential to give a sense of perspective.
Even highly religious Jews often choose secular liberal governance on purpose.
The rationale they give is that these people are easier to deal with than doctrinaire conservatives.
That’s not always a correct supposition, of course, and Christians can see what is coming down the road.

.
I call BALONEY! Orthodox Jews (and I know a LOT of them, being one), were absolutely jubilant with Trump's election. They hated Hillary, knew full well what she was all about and that she hated Israel. Haaretz is a leftist newspaper, and therefore I take their "news" with a hefty grain of salt.
Usually, conservative/republican voters (jews included) avoid exit polls. But liberal voters (jews included) participate readily. Thus, this kind of polis results is skewed greatly. Real numbers are less dramatic.
Typo correction:

We do not get to decide who is and who is not a Jew. Like everything else in Judaism, that is a matter of statutory law. One who converted Halakhically to Judaism or who was born to a Jewish mother is Halakhically Jewish and has a Jewish neshamah, regardless of whether he is holy or the most profane person to ever walk the earth. You may not like this, I may not like this, but this is Torah Law, from Heaven. If we truly fear, love, and reverence G-d we will accept His decrees, regardless of how difficult they are.
Furthermore, all Jews are against chrstianity, not just the "fake Jews." As a matter of fact, the True Jews are even more against chrstianity than the "fakes" are, because the philosophy of "fake Jews" is often merely the chrstian worldview inverted (like the "satanists" of the middle ages or the so-called "luciferians" who think "lucifer" is a hero for freeing mankind from the "demiurge" and building the "new world order").
True Jews are opposed to chrstianity for the exact same reason that Catholics are against Protestantism and Fundamentalist Protestants are against mormonism. It is an unauthorized, groundless, revolutionary innovation. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were not chrstians. Moses was not a chrstian. David was not a chrstian. Isaiah was not a chrstian. Ezra was not a chrstian. To claim they were is no different than the ridiculous islamic claims that they were moslems, G-d forbid. What was true once is still true. It has not been, and can never bee superseded (or "fulfilled" as chrstians are wont to say). If that were true, no truth would ever be final. We'd be in a world of constantly evolving, ever changing "truth" where what was once forbidden is now permitted and what was once laudable is now deplorable. You know, sort of like the world we find ourselves in?
Finally, all chrstians NB: please don't respond to this by merely quoting chrstian claims, as if doing so proved anything. It doesn't . . . except the fideism of the quoters.
Read the linked article. Headline is misleading. A few paragraphs down, they give the figures for Orthodox Jews: 56% Clinton, 39% Trump. In a study commissioned by J Street, I doubt even these numbers.
Y’ashher Kochachaw.
Yasher Koach!
I really appreciate your post. I am trying to learn more about Jews and how they fit into my political ideology.
It is very apparent to me that Jews (liberal and maybe others too) are leading the effort to destroy the white race and Christians in America and Europe, apparently as part of leftist globalism and maybe for other reasons as well. Mass immigration is one of the main means of doing this, as well as attacks on the Christianity and whites.
I understand how religious Jews would not believe in Christianity just as Christians do not believe in Judaism or any other religion. However, when you state that Jews are against Christianity, I wonder if that rises to the level of hate or even trying to destroy it or maybe just cheering its destruction. I truly believe that Christians have no intention of destroying Judaism, but I have read online that some religious Jews in Israel are also cheering the destruction of the white, Christian Europe and maybe even America. I even saw a video of a Jewish Rabbi saying he wanted to diversify whites and Christians out of power in Europe. He even said Muslims were allies of Jews for that purpose. That concerns me greatly and makes me wonder why I would want to support Israel or religious Jews if that is the attitude of religious Jews.
I have asked these types of questions before and Jewish poster get very quiet, which makes me think religious Jews do not want to admit just how “against” Christians they really are.
I was raised to believe that Christians should support Jews and Israel, but I don’t blindly support anyone, especially if I find out they are the ones behind the effort to destroy whites and Christians.
I would love to see you elaborate on just where religious Jews stand in regards to whites and Christians.
Why do you call it chrstian?
So weird. But I say no one knows. I am more inclined towards Judaism although raised Catholic. I don’t like Protestants any more than you do. So fake.
This may be off topic a little, but I have a question. Wonder if anyone can help me out. There is a commercial on the Fox News Channel showing destitute Jews in Israel, crying and begging for food and money. Has anyone seen this commercial? I don’t get it - it’s done as if they are in a 3rd world country. Why? What’s going on. This has been on now for several years - I’m puzzled as to why Israel isn’t taking care of them, and if this is really true or a scam. If it’s a scam, Fox News should be charged with fraud, yes?
Don’t know, I’ve seen it multiple times, reminds me of those ASPCA adds, who are scammers.
If you'd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
..................
Glad someone is in charge of figuring out who the fake Jews are, otherwise we wouldn't know.
Can you deny those same Jews did not prophecy of the coming Messiah? Granted every person Jesus picked was Jewish and that includes Saul the terrorists doing the Sanhedrin's bidding. I used to go to a shul because I'm partilly Hebrew, tried learning Hebrew for years, and found a lot of hostility despite me never preaching once. Some of the Christian converts indeed had mournning parents" dead to me we sat shiva." and others praying outside the shul(s) for salvation. Nevertheless saying these prophets from the Tanakh were not followers of messiah is confusing. One either believes G!D is outside time and space and knows the end from the beginning and foretold His coming or He is nothing. That people refuse to believe Yshua is messiah, fine, but please stop the past purges.pogroms and worse because my own family suffered them also until their hearts melted when they finally opened the words of Yshua. Many Jews whether orthodox or liberal consider this anathema to even have His words near their home and yet the irony here is if it were not for Jews who were willing to give their lives for the truth the followers of "The Way" later called Christians( by killers) would not have grown,
The tragedy of all this is one can sit and read Torah all ones life and deny nor even read just who Yshua is. He claimed to be the great I AM, said it enough but the great lie states it would destroy all Judaism. Not so beccause He sated he is the fulfillment of the law and all that the prophets fortold( road to Emmaeus sp? sorry).
Can we just stop throwing darts at each other and reason together to quote a phrase from Isaiah without the hostility and preconceived notions? Can we have ears to hear? I learned so much in going to synagogues but if I ever opened my mouth just a little bit I'd be verbally shot gunned until I finally left and my roots are Jewish!
To me it's a tragedy of past Christians, past Jews and the past period. If people had access to the scriptures instead of being forced in to illiteracy and worse, indoctrinated by "skilled" priests, well maybe we could break bread together again. The divide is not as big as many perceive it to be. shalom

The perception only exists in the mind of the bigoted writer.
