I don't think so. What threatens the Swamp creatures is not media exposure but criminal prosecution. The Swamp has used media leaks to spin while the AG and his inspector general have quietly accumulated evidence for trial. Trump has kept his enemies close and observed them "working" as government employees in government offices using government communications - while they thought they were safe and that Mueller had Trump on the run.
Kabuki theater. Drag these rotten traitorous bastards in front of the public, NOT behind closed doors. Closed door hearings are a serious problem.

I suspect these closed-door "hearings" are nothing more than private strategizing sessions where the swamp creatures double check to insure their stories all line up and to plan their next line of attack on Trump and his deplorable supporters.

From what I’ve read Sessions’ DOJ has done quite a bit of obstructing. Congress has been asking for docs. and Sessions has produced nada.
Halderman, Erlichman, Dean, Mitchell and others went to prison for Watergate.
I listened to those committee hearings religiously. This is far more serious than Watergate.
It looks that way, but the anti-Trump conspirators have dug themselves a deeper hole and exposed themselves to increased criminal liability. Look into what DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz has been doing and you should feel better. And remember that Horowitz works directly for the attorney general.
