Qanon said today there were 4,600 seals indictments ready to be served up. No, really, just wait like we have for over 40 years for the Clinton's to receive justice.
Should have been a hint when he let Lois Lerner walk.
They have arrest power they just don't use it.
One could say it never started.
“Republicans such as Mitch McConnell and Graham have told Trump that they will NOT confirm any other AG appointment.”
It’s called recess appointments. The Senate will be going on recess about the 22nd I believe for about ten days. Any position normally requiring Senate confirmation can be filled during that time and they will serve for roughly one year before requiring confirmation or stepping down. Fire Sessions or preferably ask him to resign because of health/family/etc and appoint the new guy in the afternoon.
There has to be a solid conservative out in flyover country somewhere who is up for the job. We don’t need/want a Washington insider or someone who makes the rounds with Fox News or any other television/radio show for guest appearances. We want a young but solid prosecutor who answers to the at 1600.
But that is assuming that Trump wants a real live AG vs the potted plant he has at DOJ now?
“They have arrest power they just don’t use it.”
and how much swamp slime did Chaffetz drain when he was one of the most powerful congressman - chair of oversight committee? Lot’s of tough talk but zero results and then he quits.
Probably all marijuana growers and MS-13 members.
Sessions seems to have a "gentlemanly" aversion to prosecuting members of the former Administration. But the precedent will not be followed - under a future Democrat President I expect half of Trump's people will get the Tom DeLay treatment.
Sessions also turned on Judge Moore. Didn’t want Shelby to get too far in front of him on that
I do hope the people who surround the President are telling him what options he has and even if they do, I can’t see the ineffectual Jeff Session cooperating and resigning.
I love this President, but I am underwhelmed by his choices and the people who are giving him advice. McMasters is down right scary and creepy.
I just can’t understand the silence coming from our side? Why are they allowing such corruption. Oh yes, we get the faux outrage and nifty sound bites, but no one seems willing to go any further than that. Why?
Trey Gowdy Still defends Mueller and calls him honorable. Unless he changed his mind and I didn't notice.
I respect Trump for his MAGA initiative and his efforts at reducing ineffective government regulation. But I do wonder sometimes about the care he uses in choosing his staff and important political appointments. I liked Jeff Sessions as a well spoken Southern gentleman in the Senate but I don’t see how he is cutout for his present position and his recusal has caused great harm and been a huge distraction for the important work that DJT has before him. The Mueller investigation was not necessary if Sessions would have stayed out of the investigation with simply a top level review of other investigators doing the work and reaching the conclusions.
Mueller has easily become the biggest issue in Washington and it shouldn’t be that way when there are other topics to be dealt with. None of this would have happened if the AG stayed in the saddle and done his job. The greatest impediment to Trump getting on with the duties at hand is a non-functioning AG.
Oh no, nothing the least bit honorable about Mueller, Comey, Rosenstein and far too many others to mention.
Sorry to hear that Gowdy thinks differently.
Well said and I couldn’t agree more. It is sad that Mueller is giving the msm a reason to ignore all of the good things that are happening.
