A meeting last week of the Clark County Democratic Party descended into chaos amid charges that party chair Donna West had engaged in “racist” behavior.
This summer, Democrats elected Erika Washington, an African-American woman, to the CCDP’s No. 2 spot. One of her jobs was to fill the party’s Political Organizing Committee, which works on voter outreach and mobilization. Washington selected three African-American women to serve. That wasn’t acceptable to West, a white woman, because she felt it would put too many black women on the 13-member committee.
“Also per the bylaws, the Political Action shall reflect the diversity of the Democratic Party constituency (Article V, Section 4 (a)). As you know, you and the Commission reps are on this committee. We have 5 African-American women on it already which is wonderful, but we cannot add any more,” wrote West to Washington. The RJ obtained a screenshot of the message, and Washington confirmed its authenticity.
“Yes, I do,” said Washington when asked if she thought racism played a role in the episode.

I LOVE when the “diversity rules” kick the “diversity RULERS” in the teeth!
Bottom line is pretty simple - the WHITE Democrat wanted the BLACK Democrat to follow the Democrat rules.
Then, once they really checked the rules and found out the BLACK Democrat hadn’t followed the rules (and neither had the party) and was ineligible to be elected for the position to which they had been elected...they let the BLACK Democrat go.
It sounds like the WHITE Democrat can easily prove that all she was trying to do was follow the Democrat rules (both for the committee appointments AND for enforcing the rules for position in which the BLACK Democrat was sitting)!
The only way the BLACK Democrat should be allowed to win this argument is if she can prove that the Democrat rules are RACIST!!
And the Democrat Party continues to implode. It’s true the Democrats used African Americans for political purposes. Now it’s all coming out
Black women make up about 6% of the US Population.
On a 13 person committee - fair representation should be about one person.
Any more and that is discrimination against others.

Diversity is a strength.
Since the “RAT Congressman” who represents Clark County, Ruben Keihuen (who goes by his middle name to mask the fact that he’s a Mexican), is being kicked out of the Congress by his own party, because he’s a sexual abuser of women, perhaps they should be working to find a replacement.
Math is hard. It's probably racist, too.
