Just curious, any problems with Zn, Fe, Mg, and Cu?

Yes, as far as I know all of them. The nickel content in my white gold wedding ring has caused a callus and a small blister to form a couple of times a month for forty three years of marriage. I suppose some soaps might cause the metal to leach out more at those times. My metal eyeglasses cause a breakout if my sideburn hairs are cut too short or I let the frames slide down with perspiration to touch my cheeks for very long.

Having said that, I have no idea what those metal compounds in multivitamins may be doing in my digestive system. Years ago I had a dentist remove all of the amalgam in my teeth and I feel that I have been in better health since then, but you know how that sort of thing can play on the mind.

I am the same re MSG, so I don’t inhale it daily like anyone eating the standard American diet. It is also a neurotoxin, and by completely avoiding it, I hope I’m helping my brain.

Yes, more lucky since I learned to always read the label. My wife and daughter have, the past few days, been counselling me on the problems found with canola oil for the same reason as you noted about MSG.

Canola Oil May Be A Bad Choice For Brain Health, Study Suggests

I say, oy vey! It looks like another fad of the day, but you know I'll do whatever they say.

No, it’s real. Cheap oil causes major inflammation. Good quality olive oil, coconut oil, or animal fats (butter and the rest) from healthy animals, are the healthiest fats to consume.

It seems to be a skin problem. All of the metals I mentioned are essential for survival, so, don’t worry about ingestion. If you removed them from your diet, and you can’t, since they are in food, you might survive a week or two until your reservoirs were empty. Good health.

Are you a physician, a veterinarian, or vaccine expert?. If not, what is your area of expertise? You should not be offering practice advice without a license or at the least a related degree. I like most of your comments Yaelle, but, you must consider the impact you might not anticipate.

People who have autistic children should never have another child. The genetic basis is there. It runs in families. Also, autism diagnosis is a moving target, what was once diagnosed as another mental disorder is now called a part of the “autism spectrum.”

You have an autistic child. If you can trace your family history, there are others in previous generations.

A reasonable comment, thank you. Please note that someone involved in public education of children today will never take any of the blame, ever, it’s always someone else’s fault. This is why most people try to find a good private school, or they home school. I’ve been involved in higher education for more than 3 decades, and have watched. The decline in student quality is quite noticeable. Many of the exceptional students now come from home schooled families and those sent to private schools.

“I don’t know why they are being talked about here.”

Because, the unqualified are passing themselves off as experts and are offering their opinions as if they are.

Agree, but AIDS is a unique disease since it mostly affected male queers and IV druggies. The homosexual gestapo got it reclassified from the serious public health risk it is, to more of a civil rights issue. We now have legislated hate crime laws for serious challenges to homosexual behaviors. That said, not all of CDC is about politics.

Yes, hospitals have their problems, but most of the pathogens are brought their by patients. Never forget that, and protect your self and your loved ones. Thank you for doing what you do. I bet your are damned good at it.

Some of it is because of increased screening.

I was told that I was on the spectrum as an adult.

I’m an engineer, an introvert, and really don’t like large crowds. That places me firmly on the Asperger’s spectrum I guess.

If you are not a full extrovert, there is something “wrong” with you.

“I was told” - who told you? Did it fit? In any case, it hardly matters if you are completely functional in life. Extrovert / introvert shouldn’t matter as long as you’re content in your life. Highly functioning autism might mean somone needs outside help to get more functional, to experience life better. If you don’t need that help. Or if your family members aren’t desperate for you to receive this help, who cares? It’s all good.

I do not need a title or a degree in order to share the most SCIENTIFIC according to actual science reached in 2017 way to approach vaccines for your child.

FIRST, DO NO HARM.
In order to follow this most important precept of western medicine, you simply MUST avoid the orders of the degreed white coated people, whose info is NOT coming from the newest science (and they will admit it if they are honest), and not inject vaccine ingredients into humans under one year of age.

New bacteriology, genetics, and immunology insist upon this. Wait.

Next smartest thing to do is to stagger the vaccines and be sure the child is perfectly healthy, no viruses etc.

I’d be doing a disservice NOT to tell FReepers this. And I have no ulterior motive, and no industry has educated me to speak only political correctness. Life is harder for kids with autism. It’s harder for their loved ones. That’s my whole motivation.

By many people who had no idea of what the typical engineer is like.

And a few HR managers.

One concerned parent approached me because she thought I resembled her son. I sent her this

As for functional, I am a happily married redneck engineer who loves chemistry, physics, history, and hunting. That means I am an odd duck

New genetic risk factor for developing autism spectrum disorder identified
Date:August 31, 2017 Source:Oregon Health & Science University Summary:A new systematic analysis has been applied to a cohort of 2,300 families who have a single child affected with autism. The study focused on identifying and characterizing low-lying genetic mutations that may have been missed in previous research, given these mutations are only present in a fraction of the bulk DNA of an individual.
1.Deidre R. Krupp, Rebecca A. Barnard, Yannis Duffourd, Sara A. Evans, Ryan M. Mulqueen, Raphael Bernier, Jean-Baptiste Rivière, Eric Fombonne, Brian J. O’Roak. Exonic Mosaic Mutations Contribute Risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder. The American Journal of Human Genetics, 2017; DOI: 10.1016/j.ajhg.2017.07.016

Ok, so we can assume you are an expert. Here is a paper, a refereed paper, from the end of August 2017. Have YOU reviewed it. I highly recommend you tell us how this genetically-based disorder is related to vaccination. I would also suggest you look at the disorder in 3rd world countries that lack vaccination options—in fact, no vaccinations are the order of their lives.

So, are you proficient in surgery, non-western medicine, or what? Yes, you don’t need a degree. Do you have a license of any sort or do you operate outside the bounds of western medicine? How many patients have you treated successfully?

You ain’t the only one. I assume you are also a P.E. Today we have all of these self-degreed people giving advice as if they are the real scientists and engineers. I started out in chemistry, became a veterinarian, then got boarded in toxicology, and extended my knowledge of infectious agents to include biological incidents. I also read history, hunt and fish, just not enough.
