The messages showed concern from Strzok and Page that a Trump presidency could politicize the FBI would uncover the politicization of the FBI, and lead to jail terms for FBI leaders.

There, Swamp Media meme needed fixing.

That would, likely, not qualify. Treason is the only crime described in the Constitution. It has a very high bar, and, essentially absent an actual declaration of war, or - in the words of the Supreme Court - an “assemblage of men” nothing qualifies.

Treason in the US essentially requires physical acts of violence, occupation, or other “assemblages of men” to quote a relevant Supreme Court decision. These crimes may well be Sedition, but are almost certainly not Treason - under the Constitution at least. You and I may popularly call it treason, but it wouldn’t be legally Treason.

“These disgusting swamp creatures, including Obama, were willing to declare Russia engaged in what would amount to an act of war by meddling in the US election, and were willing to lay land mines of sanctions for Trump in this false narrative.”

“Think about it - they were willing to risk grave relations with another nuclear power for the sake of their internal political games and to cover for Hillary and themselves.”

Plotting to overthrow a duly elected president!

I want to see sedition and treason charges....now!

Sedition is easier to prove and document versus treason, like with their own words, emails on the internet or videos of them actually committing or conspiracy, acts of Seditious conspiracy in violation of US Code, like this mia Culpa by these FBI/DOJ maggot infested thugs.

U.S. Code › Title 18 › Part I › Chapter 115 › § 2384 18 U.S. Code § 2384 - Seditious conspiracy US Code

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 808; July 24, 1956, ch. 678, ;1, 70 Stat. 623; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII,;330016(1)(N), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)

Definitive steps to overthrow the government is sedition, not treason.

Treason applies to actively supporting an enemy in wartime. Most of the use of the term ‘treason’ on FR is figurative, not legal.

Yep. Roy Moore was a weak candidate. Alabama doesn’t like him for some reason(s). I don’t think it was the allegations alone. Something else that I can’t answer since I am not from Alabama.

Yeah, the term ‘treason’ gets thrown around more liberally than I’d like to see. It’s very clearly defined in the Constitution itself. Aid to enemies and the “levying of war” against the US.
