Media poached a Senate seat. They sat on this till Moore couldn't be removed from the ballot, and now the Democrats get a a 49th Senate seat from ruby red Alabama for the next 4 years. This will be their playbook for every single Republican in 2018 and beyond. It is an enormous coup and will be a fundraising boon to them. Maybe people should trust Trump's endorsements next time...

How long before the lies are walked back against Moore?

Won’t matter though, the damage was done and that’s all that matters for them.

It’s pretty close. Does that trigger an automatic recount in Alabama?

Maybe Trump should have picked the right candidate the first time. Maybe Trump should have left Sessions in place and picked a better candidate. Sessions has turned out to be a turd in more ways than one. Maybe GOP should quit fighting itself and Giving up its advantages Shoulda coulda woulda.

Sessions should have been left in that seat; we wouldn’t have had this election and perhaps a better AG.

You are right, you are right, thanks! I had forgotten it was a special election:

"The winner of this election will fill the seat for the remainder of Sessions‘ term, due to end on January 3, 2021."

Democrat dirty tricks worked. They are the vile party. But, let’s also give credit to Mitch McConnell for helping them out.

I honestly am started to think woman’s suffrage was a big mistake. Yes I am a female. There is also the fact that people were bused in to vote without any requirement that proof of residency be established. At least that is what I have read.

Not close enough. Has to be within half a percent. It’s nearly 1%, and mostly blue votes left.
