A Louisiana private investigator pleaded guilty on Monday to misusing Donald Trump’s Social Security number in repeated attempts to access the president’s federal tax information before his election last year. Jordan Hamlett, 32, faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine following his guilty plea in federal court. Authorities have said Hamlett failed in his attempts to get Trump’s tax information through a U.S. Department of Education financial aid website. Trump has refused to release his tax returns, bucking an American tradition honored by every president since Jimmy Carter.

Sorry I don't believe a president should have to release his tax information unless it is integral to discovery in a court of law.
His privacy doesn't end at the moment he declares for the office. He's still a citizen with the same protections we all have.
obamatard/Barry Soetero has multiple SSS. Just grab them from the same DC law firm housing all his documents including the birth cert, the real one. You know, the same documents that will never show up at his presidential toilet aka library.

If Louisiana requires private investigators to be licensed
and I’m sure they do, this guy is screwed.
President Trump is not a lifelong politician like the previous losers. They all had time to start “Foundations” and stuff as a way to hide their bribes. That way they could produce a very bland tax return that reveals nothing.
Wouldn’t it be great if the media had been interested in why BHO had multiple SS #’s?

If this guy is a democrat I’m sure he didn’t ‘intend’ to misuse the information.
I don’t believe any of them had as complex tax return as Trump does either. Access to all his tax information would open up a lot of entities to attack.
I agree with your take on it, and I think there are many more issues involved here.
With the Left in the U. S. essentially adopting the tactics of terrorists, seditionists, and other “ists”, it’s no wonder Trump wants to remain somewhat secretive out of defense for his partners.
No sale. No judge will buy it. This guy was a licensed private investigator. He knew exactly what he was doing and knew there was a chance at fame, fortune, book contracts etc.

I hope they throw the book at him. His motive was to divide America further along the lines of the successful and the not so successful.
