Long Island police say they foiled an MS-13 kidnapping and murder plot when they saw the intended 16-year-old male victim being lured into a van.
Plainclothes officers arrested five members and associates of the notorious immigrant street gang on conspiracy charges after Wednesday’s takedown in Brentwood, Newsday reported.
President Trump went to Brentwood in July and vowed to crush MS-13, while pledging a tougher approach on immigration. "They have transformed peaceful parks and beautiful quiet neighborhoods into blood-stained killing fields," he said about the gang. "They're animals."
Officers told Newsday that two of the suspects, Vidal Contrera-Ortiz, 18, and Miguel Rivera, 20, were illegal immigrants.

Declare them illegal combatants with all the rights thereto pertaining (Gitmo, interrogation, death by firing squad).
It’s a sanctuary city, isn’t that what the mayor said... we’ll see if these two are released or if the mayor was blowing smoke.
I hate to be seen as defending the Mafia but the streets of East Boston (where I grew up) were pretty safe as well. The only real crime was organized and those who chose that life knew what they were getting into. Those on the outside were left alone so long as they didn’t interfere and if outsiders came to the neighborhoods to cause trouble, they were very quickly dealt with.
MS-13 was here long before Obama.

It’s just the truth. The neighborhoods where there is a Mafia presence are usually pretty damn safe.
But hey hurt the average person with higher prices on construction or getting suckered into a boiler room stock.
Also, the rule to not sell drugs has been broken back to the French connection and before that Luciano in Italy.
And a lot of Siclians have come over in the past decade or so. They have no problem selling drugs.

As far as loansharking, if you’re crazy enough to go to them and try and pay back 100 to 300 percent interest a year plus the original loan, you deserve what’s coming.
