“every country has the right to decide where its embassy will be located.”

sorry mister Czech man, I don’t agree. I don’t want - for instance - muslim countries saying they want their embassy in the USA in certain places. I think each country can work with each country to say where embassy ends up. If host country o k with it great, if not then guest embassy cannot be there.

Possibly the Czech president got things garbled. I doubt he meant that he could force his country’s embassy to be in Jerusalem if the Israelis don’t want it there.

You don't have to agree. Any country that has diplomatic relations with another has the right to establish their embassies or consulates wherever it wishes in that country.....For obvious reasons, there's no consulates in Bumfuk Iowa with the exception of the newly opened Consulate of Kosovo which opened in 2016 in Des Moines while at the same time there are three in Detroit: Japan, Italy and Canada......
