A senior Justice Department official was demoted on Wednesday amid an ongoing House intelligence committee investigation into his contacts with Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for the Trump dossier, according to Fox News.
Bruce G. Ohr, who was until Wednesday associate deputy attorney general, met during the 2016 campaign with the author of the dossier, Christopher Steele, according to evidence obtained by committee investigators.
Ohr also met “shortly after” the election with Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, investigators also found.
Congressional sources told Fox News that Simpson and Ohr met sometime around Thanksgiving last year, when President-elect Trump was in the process of selecting his cabinet, and discussed over coffee the anti-Trump dossier, the Russia investigation and what Simpson “considered the distressing development of Trump’s victory.”

Of course the FBI is the premier ethical federal investigation organization. (Sarcasm)
While it would be so much fun to see Swamp heads roll, for the moment it’s better that the foot soldiers of the Deep State remain employed by Fedzilla.
I’m not sure what punitive tools the FBI and DOJ have outside the criminal justice system, but I’m pretty certain they have more control over an agent who’s sharpening pencils in HR than they do over the fired agent who is now free to spew venom over the megaphone of the Fake News Networks.
Besides, if you are the target of the politically weaponized FBI and DOJ, you probably want to know where the long knives are at all times. That’s easier when they work for you.
President Trump is fighting for the future freedom of every American, including the rank and file libs who are too stupid or blinded by hate to see it. The stakes are that high, and if he fails we either accept our role as serfs or fight.
It makes good sense to keep these snakes on a leash until it’s time drop the hammer on all of them at once.
I think the implication is that Ohr helped Fusion turn the HRC/DNC dossier opposition research fabrications into looking like an intelligence report that could be presented to the FISA court to get a warrant to surveil American citizens involved in the Trump campaign.
I understand your reasons for keeping the enemy close, but as we know every four years the revolving door brings these people back to power.
Maybe what I really want is the final divorce decree. I am not sure that we can live with them any longer the division is too wide and their side is openly telling us that we are no longer welcome in certain states.
