Maybe Wray wants to take his investments out of the market before that bombshell is revealed publicly.

Dems ALWAYS project onto their opposition what they themselves are doing wrong. So when they accused Trump of collusion, it meant the Dems had been colluding.

Oh. We as a nation are on the verge of a political shitstorm, and that is a fact regardless of the truth of Jordan’s suggestions. For Wray to openly confirm Jordan’s suggestions, in such a public forum, at such a delicate and sensitive time, could set off a conflagration. Ergo, it would be prudent to make any confirmation in a closed setting so that the fallout can be controlled, if that is even possible. I for one do not want to see a civil war in this country, though I now think one is probably inevitable. Anyway, that is what I meant by “fanning the flames.”

It looks to me like you are saying that government official Wray shouldn't give the people of this country too much information, else they may set their hair on fire.

That the government should protect the people from themselves.

Is that what you are saying?

King Obama and Queen Hitlery will be at the head of the scandal, IMO.

The point is they are still going rogue and are answering to virtually no one, as Wray made clear today.

The hapless Judicial Committee did not even bother to haul Wray into a closed door interrogation, and Wray did not recommend a closed door hearing either.

No, that is not what I am saying. What I AM saying is that the time for such a disclosure must be chosen carefully; but disclosure there must be.

Okay, except I see no reason not to disclose it now.

These hearings generally begin as public forums; but when there is sensitive material to be discussed, it is best concluded in a closed session. So, you can expect Wray to be “invited” to a closed session in the near future.

Wray is in NO way an “outsider” to the DC Swamp.

Having worked for Weasel Comey is total poison to his CV.

Might as well have worked for Weasel Mueller.

Jordan should have Sessions job.

I was thinking the same thing; even better would be to clone him because Jordan is effective right where he is. He cut right through all the swamp mud right to the heart of the scaly monster of corruption within the FBI. The list of corrupt senior FBI agents is getting long.

Comey, Strzok, McCabe, and the jury is still out on Wray. It's clear he is trying to protect the FBI and in fact when asked who he represented and protected he almost slipped and said the good men and women of the FBI but at the last second he stuttered and said men and "people" of the United States. A Freudian slip for sure.

Then there's the for sure corruption involving Clapper and Brennan (NIS and CIA directors). When I stop and think about how many corrupt people were put in key spots during the obozo admin it really amazes me. I thought our system was more resilient and protected by checks and balances to prevent this. We came a gnat's butt distance away from becoming a Marxist/Islamic/Hispanic nation at the last Presidential election and the GOPe acts like it was no big deal. The end of America as we know it was no big deal to them and cheered for by the sick dems.

“Okay, except I see no reason not to disclose it now.”

I think it would be prudent to prepare for the shock of the disclosure, and the necessary fallout therefrom. Panic, or even going off half-cocked can be a deadly thing. If Wray confirmed today in that hearing that the DOJ and the FBI are not only corrupt but were instrumental in setting up and framing a sitting president there would be an instant crisis, and if not controlled it could get beyond ugly.
