Arizona’s Trent Franks Expected to Resign
Rumors of inappropriate behavior surround Freedom Caucus member’s anticipated exit
Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks is expected to resign from Congress, a source with knowledge told Roll Call.
The 8th District congressman did not confirm or deny any plans to resign. He said he expected to make a statement Thursday.
“We will have a statement a little bit later, but that’s all I can tell you right now,” Franks told Roll Call. “The statement will explain.”
It is unclear exactly why Franks is stepping down, but one Arizona Republican said there had been rumors of inappropriate behavior. The Republican said the congressman had apparently been making plans to run for Senate in 2012, but abruptly canceled those plans.
“There’s been rumors swirling around him for years, at least in 2012,” the Republican said. “And if this turns out to be true, there won’t be that many people who are surprised.”
If the WaPo is working on it they will make sure most of them are republicans. It maybe he got it mixed up and the WaPo has paid 20 to 30 more Moore accusers.

Once the Dems start accusations, they can easily smear anyone (place a Conservatives name here)they want, and demand resignations, with no proof. So much for innocent until proved guilty.
All this is to rationalize their future actions, once Judge Moore is elected.
Dems have no problem shooting their own, if they can spread propaganda and obtain their ultimate goal, the destruction of our American Republic.
That's what I think, also. PLUS, Conyers and Franken got killed cuz they could be focused on meaning just the two of them. But in a field of 20-30, no one individual has to take all the heat, maybe. That means they might survive.

In addition a lot of people that were in line waiting for retirements may decide they have better things to do based on their own exposure to improper behavior.
