As Aztec is a rural town of about 6,000, mostly ranch/farm kids about 25 miles from the NM/CO border. There is always a chance of gang or gangster wannabes, but it can be doubtful. Will have to wait to get the truth after the investigation of the who/why.
Aztec is in the middle of Indian country, there are a lot of gang problems on the Rez nowadays
