“Considering daddy said he wasnt there to be edjumacated, just to hang around a year and then hit the NBA draft, what University in its right mind would want him? Especially knowing that the arrogant fool daddy comes in the package?”
LiAngelo Ball is a three star basketball player so the NBA is not likely for at least two to three years.
I will guess that San Diego State, UNLV, and Texas El Paso are interested. I would even think Long Beach State might be interested as Dan Monson is on the hot seat and his contract expires next year. He’d put up a half year of the Balls if it got him an extended contract.
My mom, at the grooms dinner at my wedding (where the folks give the speeches and tell stories, and well after my years of rowdiness) thought for sure that I would be her first kid to ever end up in jail. Never did. (Never shoplifted either.... in China.)
.
Damn! is right.
And they all grew up working the family ranch in San Jose, so they were tough.
.
When I was a kid, they left the bodies behind Korvettes off the Belt Parkway.
“his son did act contrite and apologize in a reasoned manner”
He read a statement prepared by the school. The apology was not his
LOL!!
I agree with that, but I do want to acknowledge a number of points that needed to be made.
For the same reason President Trump uses a teleprompter to make sure all his bases are covered, these young men needed to touch on all the points and address them.
They did read their statements respectfully and with contrition. I’m not absolving them of the shop-lifting and the implications of it.
I screwed up when I was a kid, and I turned out pretty decent.
Lets hope the same thing happens for these kids.
We’ll know soon enough.
he’d have to sit out a yr wouldn’t he?...
Lavar and his half white boys....
Geez. Mine were plumbers.
Gonna see his errant boy on billboards with Colin - both begging for contracts ....or you’re racist.....
“hed have to sit out a yr wouldnt he?...”
Ball would have to sit out a year. Since he withdrew before the end of the first semester he can enroll at another school and count the spring and fall semesters as his transfer year and be eligible to play sometime in late December 2018.
