Prince Harry faces outcry at Nazi outfit [Media/Cultural Left Will Forgive This Behaviour]
Telegraph ^ | 1/14/05 | Neil Tweedie and Michael Kallenbach

Politicians, pressure groups and religious leaders queued up yesterday to criticise Prince Harry after the publication of a photograph showing him wearing Nazi insignia at a private party.

The 20-year-old prince, who is third in line to the throne, was castigated by, among others, the Tory leader Michael Howard, the Israeli foreign minister and survivors of the concentration camps for wearing a crude imitation uniform including a swastika armband.

The furore, which has made headlines around the world, represents a new low for the prince, whose late teenage years have been characterised by a facility for "hell-raising", including excessive drinking, cannabis use and taking a swing at photographers.

From 2005, when Harry was 20 years old. But hey, we live in a day when NO ONE is forgiven for crass words and actions from the past, right? Or is that JUST for people hated by the cultural left?

Amazing how the left is applauding Harry and his American fiance, all without really making an issue of his Nazi loving past.

You'd think that this fellow who they're cheering because of his choice of bride would be constantly asked about his affinity for Jewish hating ideologies.

The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. — Alinksy.

Nazi uniforms, sexist behavior, corruption, lying, treason — all of these things are a big deal if they can be used for Outrage against enemies. None of these things matter at all if they are done in service to the Social Revolution.

Before, during and after WWII, there were a lot of elite Brits, who had no problem with Hitler and his Nazis.

As our ambassador to Britain before WWII, Joe Kennedy fit in perfectly with the Brit Elites, who admired Hitler and his Nazi thugs.

Joseph P. Kennedy Biography.com
Business Leader, Diplomat(1888–1969)

Synopsis:

Born on September 6, 1888, in Boston, Massachusetts, Joseph P. Kennedy is best known for being the father of three political leaders: President John F. Kennedy, U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, who served as a U.S. senator and attorney general.

Joseph Kennedy became a bank president by age 25, also holding positions as a shipyard manager and movie studio owner. By age 30, he was a millionaire.

In 1937, Kennedy became the first Irish-American ambassador to Britain, serving in that position until 1940. He died in his home state on November 18, 1969.

Does the media want to dredge this up? Or would they prefer to ogle at his coming wedding?

I was under the impression that this photo was from a costume party. Harry was in no way endorsing Naziism.

It was a poor choice of costume, nothing more.

There is panic that Harry might someday be the King (highly unlikely, he is 5th in line).

Harry is engaged to an American divorcee actress, they don't like that.

They dredged up the picture to turn public opinion against him and drive him out of the Royal family (just like his great uncle Edward).

Harry already apologized for this costume and made amends back when this happened. Don’t know why it is relevant now.

Geez. It was just a costume for a party. Nothing more. If he’d dressed up like a bum or King Tut or his grandma, would they still be raking him over the coals about it?

Exactly Haiku Guy. I would hardly call Harry a Nazi lover. He was an immature 20-year-old and quite rebellious frat boy at the time attending a costume party. Certainly it was in poor taste but thank God there weren’t any cell phone cameras around to document any of my stupidly at that age.

And FWIW, Harry’s time in service in the military, undertaking two tours of duty in the front lines Afghanistan as co-pilot and gunner on an Apache helicopter pilot seemed to do a lot to mature him.

In 2006 it was announced that Harry's unit was scheduled to be deployed in Iraq the following year and a public debate ensued as to whether he should serve there. Defence Secretary John Reid said that he should be allowed to serve on the front line of battle zones. Harry agreed saying, "If they said 'no, you can't go front line' then I wouldn't drag my sorry ass through Sandhurst and I wouldn't be where I am now".[23] The Ministry of Defence and Clarence House made a joint announcement on 22 February 2007 that Harry would be deployed with his regiment to Iraq, as part of the 1st Mechanised Brigade of the 3rd Mechanised Division – a move supported by Harry, who had stated that he would leave the army if he was told to remain in safety while his regiment went to war.[24] He said: "There's no way I'm going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country."[25] The head of the British army at the time, General Sir Richard Dannatt, said on 30 April 2007 that he had personally decided that Harry would serve with his unit in Iraq,[26]and Harry was scheduled for deployment in May or June 2007, to patrol the Maysan Governorate.[27] By 16 May, however, Dannatt announced that Harry would not serve in Iraq;[28] concerns included Harry being a high-value target (as several threats by various groups had already been made against him) and the dangers the soldiers around him would face should any attempt be made on his life or if he was captured. Clarence House made public Harry's disappointment with the decision, though he said he would abide by it.[29]

It was reported in early June 2007 that Harry had arrived in Canada to train alongside soldiers of the Canadian Forces and British Army, at CFB Suffield, near Medicine Hat, Alberta. It was said that this was in preparation for a tour of duty in Afghanistan, where Canadian and British forces were participating in the NATO-led Afghan War.[30] This was confirmed in February the following year, when the British Ministry of Defence revealed that Harry had been secretly deployed as a Forward Air Controller to Helmand Provincein Afghanistan for the previous ten weeks.[31][32] The revelation came after the media – notably, German newspaper Bild and Australian magazine New Idea[33][34] – breached the blackout placed over the information by the Canadian and British authorities.[35]It was later reported that, while in Afghanistan, Harry helped Gurkha troops repel an attack from Taliban insurgents,[36] and performed patrol duty in hostile areas.[37][38][39][40] His tour made Harry the first member of the Royal Family to serve in a war zone since his uncle, Prince Andrew, flew helicopters during the Falklands War. For his service, Harry was presented with an Operational Service Medal for Afghanistan by his aunt, Princess Anne, at the Combermere Barracks in May 2008.[41]

Harry was 20 and he was, as many of us were, an insenstive kid.

But over the years this “kid” has displayed more balls than any royal since Henry V.

I give him a pass.

Think of how many 18 year olds have no idea of how this crazy PC crazy divisive culture has exploded in 10 years time and how totally out of proportion every offense has become since then.

The world is going insane.
