The sight of container ships makes me want to throw up. They represent everything wrong with the USA. Cheap slave made crap coming in. Money, natural resources and empty containers going out. They will make nice targets when a shooting war starts.

More obstacles for the U.S. Navy to avoid (sometimes). Hehehe.

Said one had enough space to haul 44,000 cars or 8+ million 50” flat screen television sets.

22,000 containers.

At 20’ per container if they were stacked end on end along the ground the line would be 83 miles long.

Maybe Stromberg Shipping could help with transporting subs.

It's Malcom Mclean's fault.

Would like to see the finance details behind these orders.
The above link puts Japan in the lead for value under construction. Their central bank already owns their stock market.

Maybe they’re expanding into shipping.

Yep we need orders for LNG tankers going to China and Europe. Can we fill shipping containers with coal?

Watch the stack trains go by every day here. Before Obastard left, the trains would go through about one in every 10 to 15 minutes. Now is one every 5 and BNSF is having problems with traffic jams.

Trucking on I 40 is really high also.

are these 22,000 cans FEU’s or TEU’s? If FEU’s, that’s 166 miles. Wowzers!

Makes zero sense - record high over capacity - empty ships lined up at Ports of LA / Long Beach. Industry shift in high value freight to Air not Sea.

So the trains you’re seeing are the ones that run along that section of track that runs parallel to I-40 out through Flagstaff and on to New Mexico, right?

Signs of economic improvement!

Another one is near my house. Farmers have been working for the past month tilling and grading a 100 acre tomato/pepper field to convert to sod.

Only if they return to china empty. If they start returning to China full of US goods, than all of a sudden they are not so bad.
My guess is Trump was royally pissed when he found out the new Chicom ships that cross the pacific in record time go back empty. You can be sure he’s working on changing that, very little escapes him.
Finally, we have an America first potus instead of what we have had since RR.
