” I don’t think they would fire him over one allegation unless they were confident it was true.”

OR he confessed!

Wasn’t Matt Lauer the one who asked Hillary a rather pointed question during the campaign? I would be curious if the colleague was a Hillary supporter.

Another piece of this is by having Trump be totally ineffective, gets nothing done, and then impeached the Political Elite can relax as the “outsider” failed. If Trump can succeed then Politicians as we know them become obsolete.

Plus Politicians work there way up locally to get to DC. The go to DC to do good, then end up doing very WELL. Grid lock is a great business model for both sides as we continue to debate and fight over the same issues and the lobbyist and donor money keeps on rolling in.

In reality, Lauer should have been fired long ago for the consensual affairs with subordinates. In most companies that alone is enough.

From the above link. Get a load of thus...

...“While it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over twenty years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident,” he continued.

What did NBC know and when did it know it?

So I guess the deal here is if you make a pass at somebody and they approve it’s good and ok.
If they disapprove, you get your rear under the bus and get publicly destroyed.

To answer your question - Kevin Spacey was a same sex situation.

Methinks its revenge for Hellary’s ‘tough interview’ by Lauer in the election campaign. Also it’s cover for moving out Lauer who commands huge contract$ plus Lauer is getting long in the tooth. The sexual allegations are a smokescreen excuse to dump his expensive butt and shiny head.

The issue is subordinates in the workplace who are usually very young women who are afraid of losing their jobs.

funny.

in all seriousness, this hair trigger firing of people based on accusations only is worrisome to me, in that they are laying the ground work to do it to US. The precedent has been set that all it takes is an accusation to ruin your life.

I don’t like Lauer or Rose or Franken or any of them (except Roy Moore) but we should be cautious in agreeing this is a good approach.
