I’ve read a few news items that said Lauer did interviews unfavorable to Hillary and soft on questions to Trump.
I’m wondering if these are the real reasons for the dismissal.
That and also an article regarding whether Megyn Kelly will replace him.
She hated Trump. I would not be surprised if she wanted Hillary as POTUS. You know, the old ‘elect a woman’ thing.

The New York Times was getting ready to publish the results of an investigation into Lauer’s behavior. This isn’t a one-time incident.
This makes it far more likely a Hillary revenge deal. A civil war among the Left.
Everyone seems to assume that Lauer’s alleged misconduct involved women. I didn’t follow the link, but the article omits to say what gender was involved, unless I missed something.
I’m struggling with “first complaint in 20 years” yet they have reason to believe it was a common occurrence. So they knew he was a serial offender, despite no one complaining bout it, but did nothing about it. Hmm...
The guy was making $28 million a year. Was he that stupid to do some grab assing at work, and he’s married mind you, or was he harpooned by the white whale, HRC? But given all the news lately, there are a lot of immoral people out there, especially on the left. Hillary really did hate him for that interview, and her minions are the real deplorables. I’m not sure what to think. It’s probably all of the above.

IMO, this has little to do with sex claims, and EVERYTHING to do with blowing the Trump-Hillary debate.
Lauer has been on Clintonista and NBC News President Andy Lock’s termination list since he allowed Trump to make a fool of Hillary Clinton in the debates. Media libs everywhere demanded his firing, if you recall.
Hillary was supposed to Home-run the email questions with snippy remarks written for her, but Lauer allowed Trump to get in his famous line, “You’d be in jail!”.
