Big mistake. The Kurds are our allies; the Turks (Islamists) hate us.
What are we suppose to do. Go to war with our NATO ally Turkey? Not to mention Iraq and Syria too? It sucks but it is what it is. The best the Kurds can hope for is autonomy in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. At least in Syria they are not persecuted by Assad. Hopefully Trump got some measure to security for the Turkish Kurds, like he has in Iraq.
