Winning! But I’d like to see some prosecution of all these government employee criminals.

I have never heard of this and find it hard to believe. Simply producing proof of payments with bank checking account evidence would be super simple. No old guy yelling in court needed. Bank owned properties are a nightmare for the bank. They hold assets they don’t want, have to pay to somewhat maintain and sell below market value.

I have an abandoned property next to a house of mine and we waited months until the bank was able to take ownership and finally stop the degradation of the yard and structure. There are still broken windows to be boarded up.

Yep - hard to believe one would not have proof of payment and that it would be insufficient to keep an entity from "not applying the payments" and then stealing the property.

Weirder things have happened under our government but this should be a non-issue unless there are other factors that haven't been put under the light.

I'll try to say it again and hope you understand it's not insurance. They take your payment and don't apply it to the loan - criminally. Then they lie to you that they'll fix it until it's foreclosed. Then nobody believes some old guy yelling in court.

---How can one make payments and not have proof of having made the payments?????---

Sorry, I'm still not being clear. You have proof. You call the company. You fax in the proof. They say the manager is on the case and will fix it. So you wait, calling every now and then but the scenario repeats. While you're waiting, foreclosure time comes. The sheriff comes and forces you out. The sheriff doesn't care about your proof - he has a legal order to evict you. If you sue later they have many high powered lawyers waiting.

Bear in mind this wouldn't work on you and it didn't work on me. It works on some of the elderly. It has a 50% chance to work on widows because if the man took care of the finances the widow doesn't understand. Same with orphans who inherit a house. They go for the low-hanging fruit. If a fighter comes along they just give in and say "oh, it was just a mistake."

They target people with low incomes because there's a good chance of getting someone with little education.

I understand - it's hard to believe. But they are doing it even now.

I have never heard of this and find it hard to believe.

Call up your local State Attorney and ask if it happens. The mortgage service industry as a whole lost 25 billion dollars and they are still doing it. You might not want to believe me but would believe 25 billion dollars?

Your skepticism is precisely why I mentioned nobody believes the old guy in court.

>>He should find a brilliant candidate who also happens to be Native American.<<

What he should do, and will do if he has the stones, is put that unconstitutional, communist-inspired organization out of business.

One trip to the lawyer’s office before it gets that far along and the whole deal is over - who waits and does nothing through such a drawn out travesty?

As I said, the low hanging fruit; elderly, widows, orphans and people of low education. They trust the lies of the mortgage services because who would believe they lie?

And one trip wouldn't do it. I made a schedule and called the State Attorney General, Congressman and CFPB to check on my case twice a week for many months. I faxed, emailed and return receipt snail mailed my proof of payment (with growing timeline of events) at least 30 times to various agencies and Green Tree. CFPB didn't tell me much but the State AG and Congress reps told me that I was just one of many.

Looks like the current fight may result in trump draining part of that swamp - totally Dem controlled and your data would make a great series of human interest showing how the Dems treat the elderly in order to pad their slush funds.

Something seriously wrong (above and beyond the initial crimes) if you can't nip something like that in the bud via a lawyer.

Thanks for the persistence during the dialogue - as I get older, my mind can take a little longer to change when it ought to be a Democrat of a job (no brainer...)....

I am familiar with this ruling and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with what you are claiming.

I understand - I’m just saying this is the sort of thing the CFPB should be stopping.

You don’t get it. They are only there to shake down financial institutions for money that goes to liberal entities. Nothing more.
