Exactly, if something says lying, stealing, murder, having sex with someone who is not your spouse, etc. is wrong, why does it not belong? Even if you aren’t part of those monotheistic religions, it’s good rules for an orderly society to follow.
Great post! A cautionary tale...my beautiful daughter, seventeen, fell pregnant to a 32year old married co-worker decades ago. It was totally consensual..Her response to a strict Catholic upbringing. She literally threw herself at him. I think this is the case with most of Moore’s accusers. Hippie rebellious girls making themselves available to an attractive older male. The receptive female cat pushing her butt in the tomcat’s face. Human nature. Animal nature.
They will slink off like the crowd who were watching when Jesus defended the woman taken in adultery. He wrote all their sins in the sand. They beat a rapid retreat. That is DC...the Swamp...today. I expect Jesus’s finger would just about wear out, writing all their sins in the sand!
Sexual predators are life long predators. They have history, a trail, they have a habit and a compulsion to commit their crimes. Judge Moore has no such "record". This is like a man, in 1975, telling a woman she's hot and then 40 years later that woman claiming he "creeped" on her. IF such a thing DID happen, which I highly doubt.
The Bible also says in the Old Testament that you need at least two or three witnesses to convict a person. Not a one person who hates that person is to believed over the person they accuse.
This is the snake oil everyone is drinking.
One “allegation” is legitimized by another “allegation”, and so forth.
This is the new strategy, and it is being aimed at conservatives.
The whole thing is stupid. But 40% of society is plain stupid, so it works.
