Not in the eyes of the law.
Since pre-trial confinement counts the same in the law
as imprisonment for purposes of ‘time served,’
I come to the opposite conclusion.
Moms get probation for murdering their babies. He served time. More than a lot of women murderers ever have to do.

Illinois. He’s a knucklehead who put himself right where we knew he’d end up. He’s not smart enough to just plead guilty and go do the time he’s earned.
So he’s been rotting in a crap hole County Jail for the last six months when he could already be in the prison they have set aside for fat, stupid, midddle aged white men who haven’t killed anyone.

Doubt it. I have acquaintances who’ve been both places. They say prison is far better than the County crap hole he’s in now. Another friend is a PD. He says exactly the same thing.
