Gov. Kay Ivey [R-AL] to vote for Roy Moore in U.S. Senate race

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey said today she plans to vote for Roy Moore in the Dec. 12 election for the U.S. Senate despite allegations of Moore's sexual encounters with teenage girls about 40 years ago, which Moore has adamantly denied.

Ivey, answering questions from reporters after the traditional Thanksgiving turkey pardon event at the governor's mansion, said protecting the Republican majority in the Senate was a major factor.

"I'm going to cast my ballot on December the 12th, and I do believe the nominee of the party is the one I'll vote for," Ivey said. "I believe in the Republican Party, what we stand for, and most important, we need to have a Republican in the United States Senate to vote on things like the Supreme Court justices, other appointments the Senate has to confirm and make major decisions. So that's what I plan to do, vote for Republican nominee Roy Moore."

Is this lady a MAGA type? Obviously not a McConnell type. I don’t know anything about her, but I like her already

Common sense might be the order of the day afterall. Whatever Judge Moore might possibly have... the gal should have come forward LONG ago. Kissing, and winking, are part of the courting game, surely you can’t compare this with the Bill Clinton deeds. This is hyprocrisy to keep him out office. The accuser says there was never any sex.

CNN has a story of McConnell sending Trump a memo to delay the election. No joke. I’m on my phone and between jobs so can’t post it.

I know this can’t happen....but I lay in bed at night and “wild” dream that POTUS, Trump would openly support Roy Moore and attend a political rally for him in Mobile, Alabama, where Trump drew 40,000 Alabama folks to the largest rally of his campaign.

Well....one can dream, can’t they? The Swamp, Establishment creatures must go, whether they be Democrat or Republican!!! Alabama voters, cast your votes for Judge Roy More on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 and, elect him your next Senator. Do it!!! MAGA!!!

Allred will never voluntarily submit the yearbook for forensic testing because she knows it’s a fraud. The revelation that the initials of Moore’s assistant, Debra Adams, appear after the alleged Moore signature prove the entire thing is forged. Those initials only appear after Moore’s name on official documents. Ms. Nelson erroneously believed they stood for District Attorney and included them in her forgery, which was copied from her divorce decree. I am frustrated that the MSM has been so negligent in reporting these facts in their frenzy to frame Moore.

I wonder if Gov. Ivey would be willing to serve as Senate Majority Leader?

I wish more politicians would learn how to tweak the media like Trump does, She could have said:

I am absolutely going to vote for Roy Moore, earlier today I ordered the Attorney General of Alabama to Search all the Laws to see if we Can Criminally Charge Ms Allred and her Client, Seize the yearbook and have it examined and tested immediately to determine it’s authenticity. I also reached out to the US Attorney in Alabama for the possibility of Federal Charges when this Forgery is Proven.

The fishy nature of the attacks seem to underscore what the attackers probably didn’t want underscored but managed to underscore anyhow: that Roy carries a great danger.

I’m not an utter fan of Roy’s past theology, but again I don’t think he’s going to be stumping for “Ten Commandments” monuments in the Senate. The bible is a book of history and spiritual progress (and backsliding) and has to be taken that way. Trivializing the “Ten Commandments” is one of my pet peeves, in fact. And if I wanted I could enumerate just how doing that is wrong. But let’s not let that distract from the main issue. Roy has Jesus and whether or not he’s giving Jesus all the credit that He could get, Jesus already knows that this is going to change to the better in the future. Satan’s therefore in a dither.

Let Roy be swept in, in a veritable landslide. And then damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. But leaning not on his own understanding.

There is a robust tradition of not prosecuting failed politicians for their politics, and no need to change this.
