It is not “fun” but if done at the behest of the Democrats or the Republican(D)s it is surely remunerative and will get some celebrity and you will get time in front of the TV cameras with the View women.

On the Moore situation:

Accusations in the absence of material evidence, corroboration, witnesses, or registering any complaint should be PUNISHABLE by law and civil suit for defamation. Period.

Baseless accusations 40 years out should mean automatic Jail Time.

This scandal flies in the face of American justice and mocks due process and innocence until PROVEN guilty.

McConnell should be sued personally for whipping up vigilante justice.

There are surely assaults.

There are also a ton of fake ones.

The result is incredulity.

Sorry about that.

The solution is not to make fake reports.

I have zero sympathy.

False allegations are being tossed out like party poppers. With intent and conspiracy to derail mens careers. For any number of reasons.

You think thats bad? Try having a false accusation hurled at you.

Where are any negative repercussions for the woman who throws out false accusations?

Zero. There are none.

I think back to when I was young. I was a little attractive, I guess, Went out a lot, drank plenty. It was the 80’s. Plenty of sexual harassment. A guy tries something, laugh it off and move the hand. If there was a second attempt, well, I would be more clear. And, the third time, my male friends would have removed him from the premises. At work,it was mostly men. I heard many off-color jokes. None of them hurt me but made the day go well for the guys. I have a lot of memories of a boss being inappropriate but dealt with them diplomatically.
I never let any of these change who I am. No, I have never been violently raped. But experienced a date rape. It did not change how I lived my life. I take responsibility for my choices that allow these situations. I do not wish anything on these men.
I am not victim shaming. I just feel it is the newest “thing” to do.

All of Cosbys knew exactly what they were getting into.

Bill was well know player going back to the 60s

“Im’ going to the Playboy mansion with Dr Huxtable for cookies and milk” LOL

Really. A woman who thought Bill Cosby was a good guy who met him in a club or even at the Playboy mansion and joined him for a drink, even a cup of coffee, DESERVED TO BE DRUGGED UNCONSCIOUS AND THEN PLAYED WITH SEXUALLY LIKE A TOY.

Sometimes you guys make me sick here.

You are right. And good women understand that a false accusation is as bad as a rape. Both can ruin lives. Rape or sexual assault is ghastly, and plenty of men get away with it because of the fear of the woman. But getting away with a false accusation is just as ghastly.

It is very difficult to prove which is which.

"Claiming sexual assault is not fun...."

Um, statement could not be more wrong for MANY women. In 2017 claiming sexual assault has become a hobby for many women, as well as a "badge of honor" in many circles..
For some it feeds that insatiable need to be a perpetual victim and punish those they despise.
We have seen good peopled DESTROYED without a shred of evidence so it gives many bad actores the POWER they desperately crave but in many circumstances would never have otherwise.
For decent women it IS a horrible experience, bur for all too many it has become the "magic-bullet" they have sought much of their lives.

I don’t think a false accusation is as bad as a woman being raped. The man suffers no physical abuse, no physical violation, no residual body fluids, no chance of pregnancy, and no mental self-incrimination or guilt over the issue of your own body’s normal reaction to stimulie out of your control. The victim’s mental anguish facets of this sort of crime are numerous.

If I conveyed a vision that this wasn’t so, I apologize. That was not my intent at all.

False charges WILL seriously impact a man’s life, and issues related to that are all I wanted to convey.

Why does the author single out men? Men have been and are victims of abuse as well.

Gen 39:10 Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, 7 and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, “Come to bed with me!”

8 But he refused. “With me in charge,” he told her, “my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care. 9 No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” 10 And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her.

11 One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside. 12 She caught him by his cloak and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.

13 When she saw that he had left his cloak in her hand and had run out of the house, 14 she called her household servants. “Look,” she said to them, “this Hebrew has been brought to us to make sport of us! He came in here to sleep with me, but I screamed. 15 When he heard me scream for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house.”

16 She kept his cloak beside her until his master came home. 17 Then she told him this story: “That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to make sport of me. 18 But as soon as I screamed for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house.”

19 When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger. 20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
