The unwanted tongue kiss is sexual assault. The photo is a joke in poor taste. There isn't even contact in the photo.
I understand the appeal of playing "gotcha" politics, but crying "grope" because of that photo demeans and cheapens real victims of real sexual assault.

The narrative will go something like this: he was a comedian, they were doing a comedy skit and he kissed her. It was in the script. He’s sorry if the kiss was a little forceful and it upset her. As for the photo, he didn’t actually touch her and it was all just for a laugh. He’s sorry now and understands it wasn’t funny.
