How are you doing this week?
I had to search frantically for 20 minutes to find the list I’ve been compiling. Finally found it! He gets to town Thursday morning and leaves late Friday night/Saturday morning...the red eye back to Georgia. He said he will work on a list on Friday.
#1 on the list is to take down the speakers downstairs. No hard jobs, just stuff I can’t get to.
Found out that this stupid keeping time for every task we do is ongoing. I thought we were done today. I am NOT happy!
Well, whatever it is we must do, we will do. I just want her to be happy and comfortable with us.
We will have to remove the bed that’s in the guest room and replace it with a hospital bed, provide oxygen for her, and whatever else she needs. Most of which I have no clue. I am sure there will be people come in to help bathe her, etc.
Are the leaves gone from your trees by now? We still have green ones. LOL! Crazy place!

Well of COURSE you want her to be happy, and she will be once she settles in. She’s a smart lady and will realize she simply can’t live by herself any more. It’ll just take a short time to get used to it and to realize y’all don’t consider her a burden.
A lot of the leaves have dropped or been blown out of the trees but there are still some hanging on. Not green though. Brown. We didn’t get beautiful fall colors this year for some reason. A few trees put on a little flash but most leaves just turned brown. *sigh* The only green trees are the cedars and pines.
Guess I should head out. Tomorrow is Republican women’s group meeting day and I have to get up early. Time to get the litter boxes scooped and a few other before-bed things done. Past time actually. I wasn’t paying attention to the time.

Looks like everyone is heading out. Guess I will too. The neighbors were having their roof replaced...along with nearly everyone else in town after our epic hail storm....and who can sleep with all that banging going on!

Last night he said he is getting a complete knee replacement on the 28th. Cindy is a nurse, so he’ll be well taken care of....but I don’t know how good a patient he might be. My guess...terrible! LOL!!
This stupid project is awful to do...none of us is able to start a project and finish it...and say it took 30 minutes. In between the phone rings, someone needs help, someone needs a password reset, etc. We3 don’t send check copies anymore...we are paperless. You have to go online to get a copy of a check. Yesterday it too me almost an hour and a half trying to help someone get into the site. I can only do so much. But the time waiting for her to follow the steps, rebott and try again, I worked on my homework stuff. Then I have to figure out how much time I worked on what. I HATE IT!!
And yes, I did give some thought to retirement. d:o)
