Howdy, Publius.
It sounds like you’ve jumped into work with both feet.
Guess it beats being bored. :-)
Gotta make a good impression!
BRRRR!! Doesn’t sound like fun at all.
We get the same “fun” here beginning Saturday and it’ll go through at least the next week. Not looking forward to it at all.
How’s that furry feller doing?
Howdy do, Conor! *HUGZ*
How’s your week gone so far? Hope it’s been good.
Howdy, radu! My day was not bad at all! How was yours? Cooler there? Still dry.
Actually it cooled off here today. This time last night it was 70 and after being really breezy all day, tonight it’s 58. Friday it’s supposed to reach 85 and then plummet again by Saturday.
I feel like I’m on a roller coaster! How ‘bout you?
Dulcie will be released from rehab on Saturday. Not sure what will happen then. She doesn’t really want to come here, but she can’t stay at her apartment any more because she can’t even stand much less get from room to room in her chair. Her legs simply have no strength. We don’t want her in a nursing home because the care is so poor.
Reading what you told MS.B, it sounds like you’re enjoying the job. That helps a lot.
It keeps me busy. Idle hands are the Devil’s playground.
Cooler here and damp. We didn’t get much rain here - - just a sprinkle - - but other areas got a decent dose. Gonna be cool again tomorrow but they SAY we’ll have sunshine. A cold front comes through Fri. or early Sat. and we’ll be cold. NOT looking forward to it.
We’ve been on the weather roller coaster for a while. It does get old after a while, doesn’t it?
It sounds like Dulcie is going to have to accept the fact she can’t live alone any more. I hope she figures out quickly she’ll be much better off with y’all. Still gonna be hard to give up her independence once and for all.
Oh, he’s fine!
He is HUGE!
LOL
He is SO nosy, and into everything!
*sigh*
Little monster!
True dat.
I hope you have enough idle time to explore the town and find a nice restaurant or two, plus other entertainment venues.
He’s a kitteh. He’s SUPPOSED to be nosy and into everything. It’s part of their genetic make-up. LOL
At least you only have the one.
He must not be misbehaving quite as badly the past few days since he’s only a “little monster” this time. :-)
It is going to be hard on her and she has never wanted to be a burden to anyone. She won’t be, but she’ll feel like she is.
And......I’m asking for patience. I can’t do much for her since I can’t lift her or move her, so I’m going to be upset at myself for wanting to help and not able to.
If it’s gonna be cold....then BE cold and stop teasing us with pretty weather for a day or two. I don’t like frigid either, but the up and down just messes with my mind. LOL! Ya know?
It sure will be hard on her. It wasn’t that long ago she was able to be independent and it’s going to be hard to give it up.
I understand where you’re coming from about not being able to help as much as you’d like. When Clara was still living at the house, she’d fall sometimes and I couldn’t help her get up. I worried she’d fall while Hubby was gone and she’d have had to just stay there til he got home. That didn’t happen, fortunately, but it isn’t a fun way to live .... constantly worried.
You can only do what you’re able to do.
Yep, it would be nice if the roller coaster ride would end but I’d prefer it to end on the warm side. LOL! I’m not ready for cold weather.
Working Black Friday should be quite the adventure!
Good evening, radu...any rain yet?
We might have a little snow in the morning...drive time, of course. And the days are slowly working their way down to single digits by mid-week next week.
EEEEEEEEK!
Don’t DO dat!
He hasn’t been too bad, but I want him to stop jumping up on people while they are standing.
If he does that while I have say, a cup of hot coffee, he’s gonna get hurt!
*sigh*
Training theses youngins’ ain’t easy!
There was some rain moving across the state this afternoon but we got just enough to dampen the leaves on the ground. Not a drop in the rain gauge.
I heard them mention the possibility of snow this weekend and I gather it’ll be in the mountains, up around where your brother used to live.
Sure am glad it isn’t as cold here as it is up there! Single digits? Yikes! And oh fun, fun, snow in time for drive-to-work time. I know you’re just tickled to death. LOL
