I have a friend (lawyer and a lib) who started out working with Claire when they were both fresh out of school. According to him she was a notorious slut of the office, a first date flop.

Most reasonably attractive women have been groped, hugged without permission and/or otherwise propositioned at one time or another...how they handled it is the issue...the nicest one for me was when I ended up alone in a car with a married co worker who asked me if he could kiss me...of course I said “no.” At least he was polite.
