Jeb Bush on Monday joined growing Republicans calls for Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore to step down after Moore allegedly had a sexual encounter with a minor.
“This is not a question of innocence or guilt like in a criminal proceeding, this is a question of what’s right and what’s wrong. Acknowledging that you’re dating teenagers when you’re 32 years old as assistant state attorney is wrong. It’s just plain wrong,” the former Republican presidential candidate and Florida governor said during an interview on CNBC.
“We need to stand for basic principles, and decency has to be one of those,” he continued. “In the really poisonous political environment we have right now, one of the rules I think has to apply is that when you attack somebody on the other party, and the other team, for doing something wrong, when it happens on your team you have an obligation, I think, to speak out as well.”

Did he acknowledge dating a 17 year old when he was 32? I had a little discussion with a guy on facebook who said he admitted to it but when I asked for proof he couldn’t provide any. Then Jeb just said in this article basically the same thing, that he did acknowledge dating a 17 year old when he was 32. Is this true or not true?

I think there’s more to it than this, however.
Ask yourself WHY would Jeb! weigh in on this particular race? Does he really think Moore is guilty of misconduct? (I don’t recall him ever speaking up about such a thing in the past.)
My spidey sense tells me that Jeb! and the other Bushies are in danger if Moore gets elected, therefore there is an all out effort to prevent that. My guess is that the Bushes are afraid what might come to light if the swamp gets drained and it won’t be good for them.
IMO this is a lot bigger than just not liking Moore or a non-GOPe candidate.
