And, how long before they get into more trouble while there in the hotel? I guarantee they’ll be ordering hookers and drugs if they can...

So I typed "didn't do nothing" in the Mandarin-English dictionary and got 没有做任何事情. In case that helps their case.

If John Wooden were alive he would just kick them off the team and leave them their fate in China. You're absolutely right, but I doubt this would have happened if Wooden were still the coach.

Japanese and American-ghetto culture arent really compatible. My d-i-l (who is Japanese) left a dvd on a train at rush hour in Tokyo. Of course it was promptly turned into lost and found.

Do the Chinese play their national anthem in the prison yard?

On a more positive note, UCLA leads two nations in steals...

Make ‘em mop floors. They’re law ignoring stars here, but in China they could work off their debt to the stores and the law as janitors.

And clean crappers for 6-12 months.

At Chinese wage rates, that might take a while...

I know a Chinese couple who had their daughter here in the States. They are both quite short, but their daughter is 6 feet tall, and a real hear-breaker! A stunner! Wish I was younger!

Every time I think about this incident and that fatmouth father LaVar, I just LMFAO. In my mind’s eye, I envision an impassive Chinese bureaucrat sitting there while LaVar splutters in Ebonics about how unjust the whole thing is and the Chinese guy inscrutably smiling while saying “thieving boys stay here. You pay hotel.”

At Chinese wage rates, that might take a while...That's the idea! And don't lodge them at a multi-star hotel, either.

Nope. Their son is going to be tall too. US nutrition!

That would be great; I have wondered who IS paying their legal bills, is UCLA responsible or would it be the families?
Of course I’m sure Jesse Jackson and Al would step in to pay for representation if needed.../s
