Because they are projecting, and they want to dehumanize and disenfranchise people who disagree with them.

Wealth inequality is not a bad thing. It’s not even a good thing. It is a GREAT thing. Wealth inequality, in a free market economy is the engine that drives prosperity, innovation and productivity. The worst thing you can do is condemn everyone to the same level of wealth. Why take chances? Why start new companies and industries? Dreams of becoming rich made America the ‘land of opportunity’.
I’m concerned with wealth inequality...I think I should be paid more and others paid less...

There should be a way to voluntarily pay more taxes, let leftist put their pocket where their mouth is.
To me, the democrats obsession against people having wealth, and trying to take it away, smacks of common thieves. And evil. I'm sick of having to lock away my stuff, whether it be a safe, my home, car or bicycle. 99 out of 100 times a thief trying to take your stuff is a democrat (or liberal non-democrat). F'n thieves should be incarcerated for life. (Yeah, I've had cars and bikes stolen as well as stuff.)
I don't care if other people have more stuff, more power to them. I work hard so I can get the stuff I want. If I want it, I'll work harder or satisfy myself that it is unobtainable and move on. Wish I had a yacht or sailboat but I'll never have one, although I have ridden on others' boats who do and admire them for it.
I have decades’ long experience working at a very famous hospital.I did reasonably well,worked hard,made a decent salary,was able to live a comfortable (quite comfortable,in fact) life...but never anywhere near “wealthy”.
I rubbed shoulders with hundreds and hundreds of physicians and surgeons while there...many of whom were famous enough to appear on national TV.
These physicians and surgeons all made very,very good livings.Huge homes,the wealthiest towns,Mercedes (or better).Comparing my comfortable life to their *very* comfortable lives I see that they had more formal education than me,I see that from the day they first entered medical school they worked *far* harder and *far* more hours than me and had far,*far* greater responsibilities than me.
As a result I don’t resent them having been more prosperous than me...*noticeably* more prosperous.
There’s a somewhat famous guy on the web (can’t recall his name) who once posted on his twitter account something like “why should a brain surgeon earn more than a janitor?” IIRC his post was thought to be tongue-in-cheek...but who can be sure?

The mentality of a thief is “that should belong to me instead”. The mentality of a liberal is “that should belong to the government, and they should give it to me”. It’s not far from the mentality of a communist, which is “they should be dead, and their stuff given to me”.
