During a segment that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Birmingham, AL ABC affiliate WBMA 33/40’s 5 p.m. local news, political reporter Lauren Walsh sought out voters in Columbiana, AL to gauge their reactions to the Washington Post report that alleged Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate conduct with four teenage girls more than 34 years ago.

None of the respondents according to Walsh told her they believed the Post’s reporting.

It's particularly notable that these interviews were conducted in a county that went for Luther Strange, Moore's opponent, in both the initial primary and the runoff. Looks like the smear isn't working.

Thank God the huge power of the 6:30 news, WaPo, NY Times and other corrupt mainstream media is declining due to the internet. Leftists and Government will work with the likes of Google to control politics on the internet, but they aren’t there yet

In the meantime, we can have individuals do their own research, and hundreds of news aggregators put together counter-arguments in almost no time. Here is one

My prayers are that truth will surface.

It is hard for me to believe the WaPo story.

Given Judge Moore’s long history of posting the Ten Commandments, it appears that one of these “ladies” would have come forward sometime in the last 40 years to debunk the judge.

It’s Alabama. It was the 1970s. Give me a break! Besides that, it’s maybe the sloppiest fakest looking desperate seeming smear job the deep state has come up with yet.

The real question with regards to Moore’s election is how is this playing with the Alabama voters.
It gets lot of play of FR but does the media in Alabama even mention it? My guess is that its not
that big of an event in Alabama.

And isn’t it “convenient” that concurrently with the Moore smear, “new polling suggests” that Moore has lost his lead. This info from ABC local seems to indicate that the “polling” is also wrong.

I bet they could find LOTS of Alabamans who would be happy to hang the WP “Reporters” from a tree.

The problem for the left and rinos is that Roy Moore has been despised nation wide by the left for 20 years. We all know in the South that if there had been a speck of wrong doing it has been hashed out in the press massively by now. Anything coming up a week before this election is garbage.

It really only says .....why the heck are the rinos so desperate to stop Moore from getting into their presence they are willing to pull this stupid stunt?????

Anyone who would decide that keeping the Ten Commandments is all right with me. The demodummie AND the rino’s deserve to be driven out of office instead of Judge Moore, a decent man. I sincerely hope he wins that election.

None of the stories even make sense.

One for example....She's a cheerleader in college and she wants to be with a 32 year old???? BS....She's after an top athlete...that's a feather...not an old man.

Because.... if Moore gets in, there is a big chance that McConnell will lose his position as Senate Majority Leader. The DEMS won't tolerate the loss of their 'collaborator' in the Republican Party.

Like they used to say in the X-Files, “I want to believe.” Which in this matter, goes both ways, as there is no evidence, just testimony.

I was stationed in Alabama from 1973 to 1976, and knew several guys in their late teens and early 20’s who married local girls who were 13, 14 or 15, because the girls parents gave their permission for them to marry.

Nobody believes it but that didn’t stop Bitch McConnell from immediately demanding he step down.

Its important for Moore to know that as long as he and his campaign play defense the MSMs will continue attacking him with this. It will be the news cycle every day till the 12th.

He must start attacking the MSM and the WP for putting out this FAKE news. If he allows this to continue without going after them then it will start to hurt.

Im not sure who is running his campaign but this election is huge, because if the fake news can change the outcome in Alabama with their lies, they can change it anywhere.

I would wager they had this BS smear in place prior to Moore winning. They probably didn’t use it then because it is really a ludicrous smear and they figured that Moore would lose.

Once he won, they had to get rid of him. This was used as a last ditch effort.

Trump was right when he called the GOPe and the RATs stupid people.

McConnell needs to step down because he is a reviled liar.

If Moore had gotten so much as a parking ticket or had returned a library book late, the media would have posted all the details about it. Anything negative (and true) about Moore should have come out during the controversy over posting the Ten Commandments. Almost nothing makes the swamp creatures and their media pit bulls angrier than a mention of the Ten Commandments so if there were any negative facts about Moore, they surely would have come out then and with great noise and fanfare.
