'I think the turnout is going to be larger FOR Roy Moore' (trunc)
Daily Mail ^ | Nov 11, 2017 | Keith Griffith

Republican officials in Alabama are doubling down on Senate candidate Roy Moore in spite of accusations that he dated teen girls in his 30s, as a photo has emerged of one accuser working at a Hillary Clinton campaign event. Moore has vehemently denied a bombshell Washington Post report detailing claims from several women that he dated them in the 1970s, including one who was 14 at the time. While the GOP establishment moved quickly to cut ties with insurgent candidate Moore, who was heavily backed by President Donald Trump's strategist Steve Bannon, local party officials were not so skittish. 'I think it's going to affect the turnout — I think the turnout is going to be larger for Roy Moore,' Calhoun County Republican Party Chairman James Bennett told the Montgomery Advertiser.

'I got more calls yesterday for Roy Moore signs than I have since the primary,' Bennett said. 'I think (Moore supporters) are very skeptical of the reporting four weeks before the election. They’re going to withhold their judgment, but they’re not going to withhold their vote.'

Other Alabama Republicans said they suspected the allegations stemmed from the Washington establishment, in a desperate attempt to keep outsider candidate Moore from reaching DC.

'I mean, how do you react to an allegation that supposedly happened 38 years ago?' Republican State Sentator Dick Brewbaker told Alabama Public Radio. 'I do not buy the idea that suddenly because it's now the US Senate, she felt like she had to come forward. I mean, come on.'

The local support for Moore stood in stark contrast to the reaction from the GOP establishment, after Senate Republicans cut fundraising ties with the candidate on Friday.

Not only do old accusations come from a dubious, biased source but the same establishment Republicans who opposed Moore instantly jumped on the bandwagon to disqualify him. If you needed any more reasons to support judge Moore I can’t think of them.

I hope this backfires badly on the GOP-E and the Dems.

First of all I flat out do not believe the one who claims she was 14, because she’s a bankrupt con who has a history, according to some on fb, of making accusations of sexual misconduct. Super unlucky or just super beautiful to be constantly flirted with by men in power? HA!

Now, the other ones? IDK but I do think they’re either lying or really embellishing because they know nobody can disprove it.

In the end, if you have an issue with a single 30/32 year old dating a 16/17 year old then I feel ya’ but I personally don’t care. Why? Because this was 40 years ago and people grow as humans as they age, and that’s all we’re talking about here; CONSENSUAL LEGAL DATING. Not stalking, not threatening, not cheating, not harassing, or assaulting but CONSENSUAL dates and that’s it..and almost 40 years ago.
You’d have to use the Hubble telescope to find a damn that I give.

The fact that the woman was deliberately in the same room as the Grand High B!tch automatically disqualifies her as a credible source for ANYTHING she might say, including whether day is light and night’s dark...

The must. What are the options?

Option 1 - force a withdrawal. Elect a Democrat.
Option 2 - run a write-in. Elect a Democrat.
Option 3 - support the candidate. Elect him. Swear him in. If the charges are substantiated, he resigns and the Pubbie governor appoints a replacement.

The original story doesn't pass the smell test for me. According the the US census of 1970, there were 5292 females aged 14 to 19 years living in Etowah county, the county that contains the city of Gadsden. Over 3000 in Gadsden alone.

https://www2.census.gov/prod2/decennial/documents/39204513p8ch02.pdf

Now, according to the wapo story:

"Neither Corfman nor any of the other women sought out The Post"
"Over the ensuing three weeks, two Post reporters contacted and interviewed the four women" (emphasis added)
"The women say they don't know one another"

I'm not sure, but I think at least one of the four lives out of the area.

That's sure some fine investigative reporting there.

I'm starting to believe the story reporters offered thousands of dollars for anyone giving them dirt on Moore.

They got away with it, keeping Lieberman, Murkowski, and Cochran in their US Senate seats. It's never been clearer. It's not the US Senate; it's the Swampthing Senate.

If I were an Alabaman, I'd be apocalyptic. There's been the unending assault on the history of the South, erasing it and replacing it with a narrative that fits the globalist agenda. There's been the constant assault on AG Sessions and his down-home and pro-Constitution values. And now they're accusing an Alabaman of in the 1970s, when he was in his early 30s, of asking a teenager for a date?

I do hope Alabama stands firm. DC swampthings are doing everything they can to erase the state, its history, and its culture!

Just donated $50, and I live in NJ. It's clear that the dems and the establishment gop will stop at nothing to go back to the Washington D.C status quo.

All outsiders and those who support bringing real change to DC will be targeted in order to send a message to anyone looking to 'rock the boat'. Time for the rest of us to send our own message.

When the swamp heathen are the ones screaming foul then you know nothing happened and Judge Moore is free and clear in my opinion. Come on Alabama, replace the lowly Jeff Sessions with a man that will swing a hammer.

Maybe President Trump should move him into the AG spot and give Ol Ears Session his old job back.

We should have seen this coming. The RATS are cornered and know what is coming for them in the next few weeks. Indictments will be handed out like candy corn to lots of DEMS. This BS against Roy Moore is crumbling already. For 40 years the man has been in public life, and this comes out now??

Moore wins this race easily.
