WASHINGTON (AP) — Justice Elena Kagan has stepped aside from the Supreme Court’s consideration of a case involving the rights of immigrants who are detained while the government considers deporting them.
Court clerk Scott Harris says in a letter Friday that Kagan belatedly discovered that she authorized a court filing at an earlier stage of the case when she was serving in the Justice Department.
Justices typically take themselves out of cases if they’ve played even a minor role at any point.

she should’ve excused herself from every obamacare ruling based on her conflict of interest...this is nothing more than she knows her side is going to lose so she mind as well step aside...

It’s not her fault. She’s an obama ass sniffer and expected her to do so. It was Roberts who did us in. It was a Benedict Arnold event.
There was an earlier case on the same matter and it ended in a 4/4 decision. She LIKELY should have withdrawn from that one also.
Maybe she sneaked into the country illegally from the Isle of Lesbos.

Same here. We’re very anxious for Trump to be awarded the privilege to remake the Court. I got on board the Trump train after the 2nd debate with Hillary, but I am just so crazed happy and proud that he’s President.

How about Sotomayor? No bias there, of course.
Even she could find no way to remain on the case and have anyone even on her side support her without losing their own credibility. If she could have, she would have.
No one blackmailed kagan to get her to do what she has done.
