Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is walking back his claim that no middle class Americans will see a tax increase under the Senate GOP plan.
"I misspoke on that. You can't guarantee that absolutely no one sees a tax increase," McConnell told The New York Times on Friday.
McConnell added that "what we are doing is targeting levels of income and looking at the average in those levels and the average will be tax relief for the average taxpayer in each of those segments."

Cut the corporate rate to 20%, cut individual rates across the board, eliminate the Death Tax, eliminate the Earned Income Tax Credit, and call it a day.

The Republican party is an absolute joke. It is nothing more than a fake opposition to the Democrat party to fool people into believing that there is more than one political party in DC.
There is only one party, the political aristocrat elites, and they pretend to be Democrats and Republicans just to make it look like your vote matters. But your vote doesn’t matter, because if you dare vote for someone they don’t approve of, they will do everything they can to destroy that person.
Outlaw illegal aliens getting refund checks.

We really only have ourselves to blame. When was the last time you could ‘believe’ anything Mother Government was trying to ‘give or take’ from you? I spent ALL of my working years thwarting the Tax Man at every turn. It was my hobby, actually. ;)
EVERY tax-paying American really needs to sit down and LEARN about their taxes, what is owed and when and take the steps needed to reduce your taxable income wherever you can.
It always AMAZED me that people REJOICED over getting a Tax Refund, and how they were going to spend it and treat themselves with it! *Rolleyes*
