FULL TITLE - As GOP lawmakers discuss Roy Moore stepping aside, state election official says he can’t be removed from the ballot

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WHNT) - Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill tells WHNT News 19 Roy Moore's name was already printed on Alabama's ballot after the nominees were confirmed back in October. Merrill also pointed out many voters have already cast their ballot for Moore, considering absentee ballots were sent out October 15th.

This comes as prominent members of the US Senate and the Republican Party, from Mitch McConnell to Richard Shelby to John McCain, say Roy Moore should step aside if the allegations are true.

Merrill says, there's nothing the Republican Party can do to remove Roy Moore from the ballot, but they can encourage a write-in campaign.

The only thing that could make votes no longer count for Moore would be for the candidate to remove himself from the race.

The most important thing to the Cheap Labor Express Republicans is protecting the Bush Plan for North Mexico and the 30 million people they invited here against the will of the citizens of the United States.
They are not going to allow any more “mistakes” like Dave Brat or Donald Trump.
They intend for us to go back to amnesty vs amnesty elections.
They do not intend to allow us to keep the rule of law or our country.

Another Freeper found these posts on the Fox Business Facebook page that was talking about this story:
https://www.facebook.com/FoxBusiness/?ref=br_rs

Post 1: She is a liar. Some of my family was Pastor to her and she is lying 100%. We know her personally... Terrible woman! She lied on several ministers that we know.

Post 2: .... yes, it is very much so a pattern for her! she has went to various churches within our denomination and accused at least three other pastors besides an uncle of ours, making sexual advances at her. Each time that she brought it to the District board for Alabama they found her to be uncredible and she changed her story many times. Additionally, she tried to sue a pastor in one of the sections within our denomination and the Circuit Judge would not hear the case. This was around 2007 this particular incident took place.

Post 3: Our section Presbyter has been notified and has notified the proper authorities! She is 100% uncredible. This is just an attack on a good Christian man, no doubt she was promised some type of monetary benefit for her lies by someone... I know 100% that she is money hungry and I wish I could go into details of the other situations involving the pastor that she accused. I will say this though I can truthfully say that 3 times out of the four times she accused pastors that we know, she attempted to “ Make a Deal” to not go public with the accusation if she would be compensated an x amount of dollars. That is one reason why the Circuit Judge in the Civil Court dismissed her case with prejudice.

It will be pretty easy to search the Alabama Court records to see if that civil suit was filed by the accuser against a pastor around 2007 and it’s disposition. It’s game over for the ComPost when that becomes public.

BS!!! This is a hit job to destroy Judge Moore. To hell with the republicans. To hell with the entire bunch of criminals.

Who cares what they say?

Is Alabama now ruled from beltway Gop’ers?

As GOP lawmakers discuss Roy Moore stepping aside, democrats start recruiting volunteers to commit perjury for "the cause" and donors to pay legal bills and settlements.

He should be gone if he did it. Republicans and conservatives should condemn him MORE than a democrat in this situation (he embarrassed US, not just himself and liberals). But the GOP should not be establishing a precedent for Ds to disqualify every future conservative based on accusations. Or to encourage Ds to dig even deeper than candidates usually do to find SOMETHING to "disqualify" the opposition.

Prefer to call it the Sewer.

Swamps have some benefit, are naturally occurring, and harm no one.

The Sewer, on the other hand, is man-made, full of sh*t, and harmful to all of us.

Great job Alabama voters. You selected a wacko as the Republican candidate and now a Democrat will win a Senate seat in the south.

Moore can run and win then resign and replaced by the Republican Gov. or another special election.
