Our trade deficit with China hit a brand new record high because the U.S. dollar has gotten very strong since Donald Trump was elected. The nation with the stronger currency is always going to run a trade deficit in this scenario.
Can someone post the picture of them standing there?
There’s probably a Chinese restaurant named ‘forbidden city’ just down the street where Michelle lives. She could go there and gorge herself.

I wonder how much of this is also reflective of the recent power consolidation in Beijing.
Not to downplay the honor, but only 2 other China leaders (Mao and Deng) were provided the same level of power the current Xi Jinping.
He is only the 4th (Jiang Zemin being the 3rd) to have their “thoughts” put into the constitution. Jiang was provided the honor - but never really had the same level of consolidated power and still had rivals present in the party.
I can see this as an honor on Trump that is also indicating the power of Xi in his newly elevated status.

How true this is. The contrast is stark.
In his interview with Laura Ingraham, Clarence Thomas made quite the sobering remark. He wondered what, if anything, Americans had in common anymore.

At home.. in our country.. the media and congress treat our President with disrespect and are damaging everything good that Pres Trump is accomplishing .. abroad he is shown respect and honored. He speaks volumes to foreign leaders ... and is labeled a ‘blowhard’ by the bush presidents. No civility, no respect, no smarts, and no nothings from people who should know better .. they are an embarrassment.
Strength is honored abroad but stiffed at home. They think the manner one speaks is more important than saving a nation from destruction. They continue to disregard the good that is happening from our President, and continue to bash him. The nation is still filled with too many swamp people who have to be purged... when... ?
If it were their first team in leadership, it might be possible to claim that they went rogue on Republicans. They've both been voted into leadership multiple times. We have to accept the only conclusion. Republicans elect them to leadership roles so they can be used for the rest of them as an excuse for not fullfilling campaign promises.
DC Swmapthing Republicans disgust me. There should've been a mutiny when Ryan didn't have a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The branch that is being rounded up had connections to Bush (911), Obama (college expenses) and the CF. mention of bribery and money laundering and other forms of corruption have made them extremely wealthy. Money that may be confiscated
