The Story of How 470,000 Documents from Osama Bin Laden's Compound Finally Got Into the Open
The Weekly Standard ^ | Nov 13, 2017 | Stephen F. Hayes

On the penultimate day of the Obama administration, less than 24 hours before the president would vacate the White House, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper issued a press release meant to put to rest what had been a pesky issue for his office. “Closing the Book on Bin Laden: Intelligence Community Releases Final Abbottabad Documents,” the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) announced. “Today marks the end of a two-and-a-half-year effort to declassify several hundred documents recovered in the raid on Osama bin Laden’s Abbottabad, Pakistan, compound in May 2011.” Accompanying the press release were 49 documents captured during the raid, bringing the total number of documents made public to 571.

For anyone who had paid even casual attention to the long-running debate over the Abbottabad documents—a group that doesn’t include many journalists—the ODNI announcement was cause for a chuckle. Closing the book on Osama bin Laden? The final Abbottabad documents?

In the heady days immediately after the May 2 Abbottabad raid, President Obama’s national security adviser, Tom Donilon, had described the intelligence haul brought back from Pakistan by the Navy SEALs and CIA operatives as extensive enough to fill a “small college library.” A senior military intelligence official who briefed reporters at the Pentagon on May 7, 2011, said: “As a result of the raid, we’ve acquired the single largest collection of senior terrorist materials ever.”

Why would ODNI think it could get away with such an aggressive lie?

Did I read in these documents that alQueda 9-11 terrorists were funded by Iran, not Saudi Arabia? Have to confirm.

Also- read up on GCC- Gulf Cooperation Council. Saudi Arabia and 5 other muslim countries quietly destroying ISIS all over the world with assistance from Israel and the U.S. Fascinating things happening.

Maybe it's because nobody did squat about a British born subject Indonesian citizen illegally holding our Executive office!

In this short summation, it appears that Iran actively supported al Queda, but it does not say that they were the main or only source of support.

It’s a long difficult read and I’m not sure if it was more about what we supposedly didn’t know and what Obama’s intelligence [sic] held back.

It’s not unreasonable to withhold intelligence information of this nature. It’s good that your enemy doesn’t know what they know. It’s just done with a little more finesse then simply lying. This was just the Obamas administration of ham handedness.

The gist of the article means to me is to juxtapose the information withheld with Benghazi and the negotiations and deals going down with Iran.

Now the information is largely superfluous now but I would suppose that the Intelligence network would have liked to keep it underwraps.

I think this is part of PDJT swamp draining. Just like the Kennedy files and the Martin Luther King allegations. The public is getting a look behind the curtains and it’s not pretty.

Also, this article shows The Obama administration KNEW about Irans involvement w/ Al-Qaeda and he STILL gave them over 150 Billion Dollars and allowed their path to Create Nuclear Weapons to happen faster w/ that 5+1 Agreement. Thanks for being such a Skunk Hussein Obama.
