Former President George W. Bush and his father, former President George H.W. Bush, both criticize President Trump in a new book to be released this month, with George W. Bush admitting that, despite Trump’s political affiliation, he’s worried “that I will be the last Republican president.”
George H.W. Bush also calls Trump a “blowhard” in the book, “The Last Republicans,” by Mark K. Updegrove, which was previewed by The New York Times and CNN on Friday.
"I don't like him. I don't know much about him, but I know he's a blowhard. And I'm not too excited about him being a leader,” the senior Bush said, according to the author. He also commented on Trump’s “ego.”
“Wow, this guy doesn't know what it means to be president,” the younger Bush said. He indicated that a president should not “exploit the anger, incite it” but rather “come up with ideas to deal with it.”
Neither man voted for Trump in the last election, and George H.W. Bush confirms in the book that he voted for Hillary Clinton. George W. Bush said he left the top of his ballot blank and did not vote for Clinton because she has “bad judgment.”

Is it wrong for guys to talk “dirty” to each other in private conversations? If you think it is wrong, that’s fine. In my faith it’s really not, but gossiping about someone not present would be a sin. Using “naughty words” is impolite but not a sin and certainly hurts no one in a private conversation. He really was making an observation about fame and sex. He wasn’t saying Miss X is hot in bed, even.
And it’s apparently STILL a religion of peace.
Bush should have called it The Last RINO President, because the further we go into the Trump presidency, the more that the Bushes look like RINOs.
The Bushes took a party comprised of a broad coalition that Ronald Reagan singlehandedly built and reformed it into a globalist enterprise focused on nation building, mass immigration cheap labor, open borders, and big government. That’s what the GOP has been since 1989 despite their lies to support small government, low taxes, individual freedom, and rule of law. That party, the party of the Bushes, was a miserable failure. It deserved to be put out of its misery and I’m hopeful that George W Bush will indeed be the last “Republican” president of that flavor. And may the rest of the Bush-ite GOP insects follow suit.

I agree with you. The other fact that most people seem to be unaware of is that Trump was visiting with Billy Bush on his way to act in a soap opera. What role was he to play? A very wealthy business man who had women throw themselves at him. In our current society, you can hear things on TV during prime time that are worse than what Trump said. Listen to some of the music out there, it’s worse than what Trump said. Those that feign offense just love their Hollyweird stars who actually do far worse than what Trump was accused of.
If he was a true Republican, I hope he is the last one.
Reagan was the last Republican POTUS before Trump. Also a former card carrying Democrat. It’s the “life time” RINOs like the Bush clan who are the problem with GOP.
