On terrorism, we often are fighting the last war. And sometimes the supposed solutions have nothing to do with preventing future attacks. They just give the appearance that politicians are doing something.
The terror attack on Tuesday in New York City left eight dead and eleven injured after a rental truck was used to plow down people on a bike path. We are just fortunate that the killer ran into a school bus and was unable to continue his plan to hit more pedestrians on the Brooklyn Bridge.

There is never a guarantee that an armed citizen can stop a bad guy, but there is a 100% guarantee an unarmed citizen cannot. If the dead adults at Sandy Hook could have a do-over, you can bet they’d rather have faced Adam Lanza with a gun of their own.
I could only read a few before I could not stomach anymore.
Funny that a *good guy with a gun* stopped the muslim shooter in NYC last week.

The only way that will ever happen is if every elected democrat in this state is thrown under prisons, and all republicans are voted in.
